yes, but it was likely due to the fact that they were flooded by visits due to that awesome offer
https://bero-host.de/aktion/xmas
Offered only today, 10.12. (49€ / year)
That's an awesome one too
I confirm that
I would have preferred the original offer.
I need disk space but I'm going to mount a network disk, which should be fine, I don't need speed. (or buy a disk extension if they accept)
You can increase the storage! I did and they gave me a special price for the increase
Yours seem to be the best scores I've seen so far. Closer to genoa scores.
Probably a new node because the processor is 7443 as opposed to 7443P for others.
Yes geekbench score is impressive.
The server is probably on an empty node although the disk IOs are less impressive compared to the benchmarks of servers purchased during the Halloween offer. But for the price it's more than excellent.
I find their panel quite nice actually.
If it's reliable and stable I'll keep it for a long time.
They have planned 2 more great offers for the end of the year with I imagine the best one for December 24th. But hey... not sure I have time to think about it...so I took the opportunity with this one.
Got 5 minutes of network downtime last night again (early morning Finnish hours). Anybody else? The server was up and running all the time, just kinda disconnected because both web and push monitors on Uptime Kuma registered the same downtime.
the storage can be increased?
could you tell the details?
Yes, I increased the storage on my VPS by 300GB and it didn't even require downtime. I only had to run some commands in the guest OS to resize the file system and that's it. I was told by Andres from support that they can allocate up to 2TB of NVME storage to each VPS, so you just need to open a ticket.
Your single score is higher but i got a higher multi core score:
Yes, with double number of cores (8 vs 4)
hehehehe i noticed right now
x4 Disk, x3 RAM, x2 IOps
For only twice the price
But the best value for money remains the IPv6 server at 10€ per year...
incredible spec for 10 euros per year, hope they'll release some insane offer like this for the rest of the month.
Für die angeforderte Seite order/xmas2023ipv6 hast du leider keine Rechte!
Bitte wende dich an unseren Support, falls du weitere Probleme haben solltest.
Can't order
This offer is available today:
10 euros per year
RAM: 4 GB
NVMe: 50 GB
IPv4: None
IPv6: 1 /64 network
Backups: 3 slots
Unfortunately the offer is gone.
Normal, the offer is over
Edit: Too slow
The offer today 4cpu 8GB is very good. Signed up thanks.
How long is this company's ticket response time?
I have a ticket pending for 3 days. (But I sent it via the contact form. It is related to additional disks and I am not a customer. The ticket was in English, not German.)

I got a reply within 6-8 hours during week days on low priority ticket. That was way back in October when my server was provisioned.
Yet another outage started a hour ago and still ongoing. I love the specs and the price but it's happening way too often and I am getting tired.
Similarly, I have two VPS instances. Yesterday one suddenly went offline. The same problem occurred on another unit today...
I also have 2 instances there, no downtime so far on both servers
They must have gotten the network flu from being too close Contabo in Germany. That's the only rational explanation.
They are intermittent but almost every day for me
Their main offering is game servers which attracts many ddos attacks.
Also they never report anything on https://berohost.statuspage.io/
They must have went to the same school as NexusBytes
