Fuck, my ISP dont offer IPv6 with my configuration. I hope i can order an ipv4 with this deal

You can use it with cloudflare warp and gateway

How and how easy is it?
Any thing i should think about which wont work with warp and gateway?

    @vitobotta said:
Just cloudflare tunnel! It's very easy and works great

How and what is the difference between your suggestion and the suggestion from @loay ?

With the tunnel you install a package on your server that will keep a persistent connection between your server and Cloudflare, then you create published hostnames pointing to ports on the server. You can create many public hostnames for many servers that way.

did you ask for a node move? i thought you had a noticable steal before a couple of weeks

I had problems with the control panel, not with cpu steal.

it was on the first day when you purchased the server?

yes, but it was likely due to the fact that they were flooded by visits due to that awesome offer

Yours seem to be the best scores I've seen so far. Closer to genoa scores.
Probably a new node because the processor is 7443 as opposed to 7443P for others.

    Yes geekbench score is impressive.
The server is probably on an empty node although the disk IOs are less impressive compared to the benchmarks of servers purchased during the Halloween offer. But for the price it's more than excellent.
I find their panel quite nice actually.
If it's reliable and stable I'll keep it for a long time.

They have planned 2 more great offers for the end of the year with I imagine the best one for December 24th. But hey... not sure I have time to think about it...so I took the opportunity with this one.

    Thanked by 1DarkMagik
  • Got 5 minutes of network downtime last night again (early morning Finnish hours). Anybody else? The server was up and running all the time, just kinda disconnected because both web and push monitors on Uptime Kuma registered the same downtime.

I need disk space but I'm going to mount a network disk, which should be fine, I don't need speed. (or buy a disk extension if they accept)

You can increase the storage! I did and they gave me a special price for the increase

    the storage can be increased?

    could you tell the details?

Yes, I increased the storage on my VPS by 300GB and it didn't even require downtime. I only had to run some commands in the guest OS to resize the file system and that's it. I was told by Andres from support that they can allocate up to 2TB of NVME storage to each VPS, so you just need to open a ticket.

  • How long is this company's ticket response time?

I have a ticket pending for 3 days. (But I sent it via the contact form. It is related to additional disks and I am not a customer. The ticket was in English, not German.)

I got a reply within 6-8 hours during week days on low priority ticket. That was way back in October when my server was provisioned.

  • Yet another outage started a hour ago and still ongoing. I love the specs and the price but it's happening way too often and I am getting tired. :(

Similarly, I have two VPS instances. Yesterday one suddenly went offline. The same problem occurred on another unit today...

I also have 2 instances there, no downtime so far on both servers

They must have gotten the network flu from being too close Contabo in Germany. That's the only rational explanation.

  • They are intermittent but almost every day for me

  • Their main offering is game servers which attracts many ddos attacks.
