Yet another outage started a hour ago and still ongoing. I love the specs and the price but it's happening way too often and I am getting tired. :(

Similarly, I have two VPS instances. Yesterday one suddenly went offline. The same problem occurred on another unit today...

I also have 2 instances there, no downtime so far on both servers

This should be a Halloween node failure.

I have another 4C 8G EPYC. they are online for about 240 days.

  • Now back.

But I don’t know the reason yet, waiting for their reply.

  • Back for me too, but this time the server was down, so not a network issue like the other times or not only a network issue. I am still waiting for a reply to my ticket.

There are probably several nodes, given the specifications, and the offer had been shared on a popular German website.
So I imagine a lot of customers.

  • Support said it was a memory issues and they migrated me to another host. Fingers crossed...

  • Forgot to mention that they credited one month of usage. It's nice and I appreciate it, but I hope the server is more stable from now on.

    Thanked by 1loay

    I do not have this.

  • My Halloween VPS have 100% uptime since 3rd of November(Monitoring started). But I see CPU steal from 0 to 7%. Usually 0.1 to 2% most of the time.

  • For me CPU steal has always been below 1-2%. I have never had any problems at all with performance, just with availability in the past weeks.

  • Another great offer.
Very happy with the server I have with them. I recommend them so far.

Thanks, just ordered. Lots of funny looking words/letters with dots though

Damn how can they possibly afford to sell for that price?

    Either:
    1. Cheap hardware and operational costs
    2. They are losing money on each sale
    3. German efficiency

    They must be hugely overselling.

24GB RAM per VPS? If one doesn’t oversell and a hypervisor has 256GB of RAM that’s only 10VPS’ per node.

    Prozessor: AMD EPYC 7443P
Arbeitsspeicher: 512 GB reg. ECC DDR4
Festplatte: 2 x 4 TB PCIe 4 Datacenter NVMe SSD
    Mainboard: Supermicro H12SSW-iNR
    Anbindung: 2 x 10 Gbit/s + 2 x 1 Gbit/s
Standort: Maincubes in Frankfurt am Main

Is there any information about Raid configuration?

Since it's not a VDS, oversell is possible. I can say I have no cpu steal or performance impacts so far

Average 12GB memory can be actively assigned per VPS
With 512 GB memory on host server, can have around 40-45 VPS without anything being noticed by the customers

  • Such a tempting offer. Do they offer windows OS

I don’t think bero is on a repuc level, if they say you have 24gb then you have it, I might be wrong but highly doubt it they’re not new (in providing service)

  • Performance with mine has always been excellent. It doesn't seem like they oversell like crazy despite the price

Windows 11 licenses are super cheap (under 3$)

better to use their dedicated thread imo:

I need to set up Prestashop and migrated to a dedicated server to remove the risk of downtime due to noisy neighbors and things like that.

Ok, so no problems so far, just to avoid possible problems in the future?

I did have some issues with a host and was migrated to another one, so that's why I prefer a dedicated server.
