    Wow a monster. Great offer.
I dont know this provider though

The only thing is that it's way too powerful for my hobby projects. These are the kind of specs that I reserve for real production projects. So it all depends on the reliability of the supplier.

The supplier seems to have a pretty good reputation. Even if only 5 years of activity. The perf are incredible for the price. However, no need for it, and I don't like having idling servers!
    But thanks for sharing !

  • I checked the site months ago and the prices where impressivly high. The KVM offer without IPv6 can be compared with vServer
    1 vCore 1GB RAM 10GB NVME €42/y

On mydealz they saying, the webspace and game server going to normal price after first year. The KVM server might stay the same.

    This is my pet peave.
Non-usage/non-payment is NOT a proper form of cancellation.
Nothing pisses me off more than clients not properly cancelling service, and expecting us to be mind readers.
Then they are pissed off if we delete it and they try and pay later and it is not there any more.

    Mmm, valid point.
Do you keep backup before deletion to prevent any '''rage in comments all over internet ?

  • jsgjsg Member, Resident Benchmarker

Yeah, it looks really great at first glance.
But I don't trust it, I presume that a vCore is 1/4 of a HWT at best, so what you really get is 2 HWTs ~ 1 hw core, so he can put 24 such VMs on that node. That by itself just might cover his cost, but that's a 3rd gen Epyc we're talking about here which means that they didn't get that processor for cheap. Now add over 512 GB DDR4 RAM to that (prob. 640 GB). Next add over 10 TB NVMe (more likely over 20 TB unless he's playing lottery with you data and doesn't mirror). And then add over 500 TB of, not crappy I hope, traffic plus DDOS protection.

And now look and compare what other providers offer. Not even half of the above for €10/mo would be considered an excellent deal (and bring in some profit for the provider too).

Nuh, thanks no, I'll stay put with my 4 vCores, 8 GB, etc. "boring" Epyc VPS following the "if it looks to good to be true, stay away" principle.

That said I don't have the slightest doubt that they'll fill that/those node(s) up quickly.

Why +++++? Your don't even have proper cancellation system inside of billing portal or it's rather disabled.
Why +++++ and then doing everything to make it harder to cancel service properly?

    I can understand your anger.

But in the case of whmcs, this is indeed what a lot of people will do when they stop using the server, even though it's not entirely true.

But that's what happens when you have a lot of servers. I've done something like this myself.

I'm not trying to defend anything, but after tos tells users that after three days of being overdue we'll delete your server and there's no way to renew or restore it, it seems to be ok.

You're pro liar :) You sent even mail out that ticket system isn't in use any more and clients needs to use email to contact you. Unless you re-opened it I am pretty sure there wasn't ticket system available inside the billing panel for some time.

By this I mean that at this price we can only expect a heavily loaded Host node. And therefore shared resources. I don't see how it's different from other low cost offers.

I got what you try to say but from what i saw is that on a holiday they have this prices and after the holiday prices are going back to normal atleast from my research a bit about them. I wish they also had english as an option on their website and client area  .

  • It allows selecting Windows 11 Pro system.
Is it all licensed? Or would need to be activated by the user?

Indeed if the price is not recurring then it is not very interesting. Especially since it is not clear. If so then this is a great offer. Even too good to be true.
