what’s up
Lol
He did indeed

My HS VPS at Terrahost is still online.
You claimed to have access to dedicated servers in his dc. Not in these threads here, it has been some time ago in another thread (most likely one about the network during ddos incident). I interpreted that as you being the owner yourself.
You say that you'd gladly take any questionable site/service as customer, even at a loss, just for the fun of it. That is pretty much what cociu did.
How long?
I don't have storage plans in Antarctica.
Storage is deep in the Atlantic Ocean.
https://yoursunny.com/p/summer-host/storage/
It's not VPS.
You can only upload on the webpage.
Completely free and no size limit.
Why? https://yoursunny.com/t/2021/das-stream-bits/ . You should always compress it.
Isn't the Pacific even deeper...
This directive prevents automatic compression between Caddy and backend.
If I set
compression on, Caddy always insertsAccept-Encoding: gzipwhen it forwards a request to the backend, and then decompresses the response toward a client that does not accept compressed response. If I set
compression off, Caddy does not changeAccept-Encoding, and my backend returns 406 Not Acceptable if client cannot accept compressed response, which effectively reduces my bandwidth consumption.Let's all give it a day or two - because @jsg says so. It's all a misunderstanding. Cociu is reorganizing things and everything will be functioning in a day or two. Don't worry, be happy. Sure...
Site & Control panel is back online....
Seems like he took it offline to delete all open tickets.
And tickets got involucrated once again.
Website/ClientArea has been devolucrated.
My ticket also deleted, it was second time. What is goin on ? Everything is normal ?
Maybe this time a previous backup was restored.
Yeah, I'm gonna guess it's an old backup. I canceled a VPS previously, and it was removed from the control panel, but it's showing up again now. Plus the (useless) 40 EUR credit that was added to my account isn't showing up anymore.
Is it in the DC? Thought it was on Hetzner. @default - explain why they deleted all the tickets with their "work"? To what end? Explain why they took someones balance? Explain 256 IPs and 3000 clients - how do you make that work? Explain no emails to the customers. Oh I know he is a good guy, it's all a misunderstanding. And of course, you are just trying to gaslight everyone again.
Big question- did he refund the money earned from the IP sale to his clients who lost their money on his shitty system? Or did he pocket it? Wasn't a whole lot of people saying they got real cash refunds
I know I know, the guy that has influenced you the most says wait a day or 2.
DOn't worry, be happy. It's all a misunderstanding for a long long time
They won't back down now, if it was another random company I'm sure there wouldn't be a question though. Even though;
Still happy to keep more than 4PB worth of storage up for sale though (without any servers for it).
Why would you say that? They're (those seeking reassignment surgery) literally and loudly clearly disagree with you. Happiness and mental health of themselves means a fuck of a lot more to them than your bigotry.
I was born with a given name but I go by my middle name. IMO, it suits me better. Why should we get to change the name that we go by but people can't change how they think and feel inside?
I'm atheist. When I'm trying to feel empathy for others, I think, "how would I feel if someone tried to force me to believe something I know in my core to be untrue". It applies everywhere!
FFS, no one is forcing you to do fuck all, just leave them be.
@databoss - I do not work for HostSolutions, therefore I can't answer all those questions.
My humble opinion (because I would love to have an answer) is simply that one can't handle it.
One thing is certain, there are many customers with HostSolutons, because it was cheap and old provider of LET:
I don't think he has the staff to handle all this mess, especially without staff like Miguel; so he simply deletes them all while he figures something out.
I do not know WHMCS (never tried it, don't own a license), so I don't know what needs to be done in order to express a more technical approach, but this is my opinion as an outsider, regarding deleting tickets. Marius did this in the past, when he was overwhelmed with customer tickets. I can't see other reason for deleting hundreds (or maybe thousands) of tickets - he simply does not have the staff to handle this mess fast, because that would increase costs, and services wold have been more expensive.
It's the new HS normal.
My first two tickets have been involucrated. Just opened the third.
@jsg could you help test the WHMCS database 'age' for us?
You got a test VM at some point in the last 2 - 3 months. Is it showing in WHMCS?
Francisco
And none of them got real money that he actually had to pay for this mess. He can send a message to everyone - isnt rocket science. You are defending him because at this point you are so deep into defending him, you can't back out
You've never heard of Double Jeopardy? There's a B movie with that plot every few years.
Wait a sec...I think @Maounique's scenario was more like this:
I don't think that's double jeopardy, is it? I guess now that I think about it, I'm not sure. If we were talking about a bank robbery and I was falsely imprisoned, got out, and then robbed the same bank, I could definitely be prosecuted for that second robbery because it's a separate criminal act. But you can't kill someone twice. OTOH, I have a hard time believing that I couldn't be prosecuted for a new, separate criminal act, even if falsely prosecuted before. Hmmm.
Classically, double jeopardy would be:
Just hypothetical, of course. I would never post on WHT.
