I'm sure this list can change... I don't expect to be looking at Q2 2014 when it's Q2 2015.
Maybe you don't expect to, but you will be.
The companies would fail if every place did this... I don't like the idea of that.
If company is relying on free advertising, then that's their problem...

EDIT: Was added with domain purchase and enabled automatically at Namecheap. Has been removed from both .com and .co.uk TLDs.
If you click the notification item before page has been fully loaded it just acts as a link to your profile. The twitter button on the footer of the page usually slows down the whole page a few seconds. Always have to wait for the twitter button to load now kind of annoying.
Adblock, it doesn't just disable ads, it gets rids of the annoyances as well.
