    Hello guys,
I finally got the refund today! Finally, after 4 weeks of going through hell with Hudson Valley Host/ColoCrossing, I suppose my battle ends here. I would like to say thank you for supporting me, all the PMs and encouraging words kept me going. I have been told by Ernie from HVH & Jon from CC that "no refund" would be given MANY times.

I didn't stop the fight due your supportive encouragement. CC/HVH have notrious past of treating their customers like sh*t and bullying them around so please be careful before you decide to go with them. Honestly, after seeing what I went through, I do not know why anyone would choose them but up to you.

Before I leave this thread for good, I would like to offer my humble suggestions on the steps you need to take to fight scammy/dishonest companies like CC/HVH. I know A LOT of customers feel lost after getting screwed over but you do have ways you can fight them.

    1) Before you do anything, try to work it out with the company. Email them of the problems you are having hoping the hosting company will help you. If you think you deserve a refund, ask them kindly and see what they say. Be reasonable and be kind.

    2) If they refuse to help you out or they do not deliver the servers in timely manner - then do what I did. Open up threads on this forum along with over on WHT. And also on Vpsboard.com. I opened up this thread in hopes Ernie would read it and refund me.

    3) If the hosting company owner reads your threads and still refuses to help you and acts like a scammy dirty douchebag then start filing serious complaints online. Below are what I have filed against CC/HVH. Some I have searched myself and some have been informed to me by other fellow members (thank you):

    http://www.ic3.gov

    http://www.bbb.org/consumer-complaints/file-a-complaint/get-started

    http:// www.ftc.gov/

File a "consumer complaint" in which the company is located in. For example, CC/HVH is located in New York so I would google "attorney general consumer complaint New York" and following link would pop up:

    http://www.ag.ny.gov/internet-bureau-online-complaint-form

    Notify Visa or Mastercard:

    https://usa.visa.com/checkoutfees/contact.jsp

    http://www.mastercard.us/support/merchant-violations.html

Now, some might say what I have done is "over the top" - however, once you mess with my money while compromising my sensitive private information, I will make sure others know about your wrong doings on public so you cannot screw other people like you screwed me over. 4 weeks of long battle but it was all worth it in the end. I hope Ernie from HVH and Jon from CC will learn from this experience and treat their customers the "right way". They ought to stop sharing their customers sensitive information too. This could get them into some serious trouble down the road. They should thank me for not taking this case further. I still strongly firmly 100% believe my credit card was compromised/leaked by CC/HVH.

That's it folks! Thanks for following my adventure and supporting me. :) :) :)

PS - I would appreciate it if you don't change the title of this thread and leave it as it is. I think my request is fair. Also please don't blur out the company names such as editing it to Huson V***** or Coo****.

    Thank you admins!

Good to see you got your refund.

This was a productive thread. Finally got CC to admit they own HVH, and through constant bickering of the community and demands of the OP he got what was rightfully his, a refund.
