it was always fair use in our TOS
Doesn't say anything about fair-use in the archives my dude.
should
but it isn't, go scam some other kids please.
Then remove the "unlimited" and just call it "fair use according to AUP", stop trying to market it as something it is clearly not! It is totally irrelevant what you think you sell, the important thing is what your customers think they are paying for, and clearly your customers are confused by your marketing! Just fix it!
Do you seriously think you are gaining anything by even discussing this? You could have just apologized and fixed the issue that a lot of people have repeatedly pointed out is clearly misleading, and you would probably have gained a good reputation on this forum. But instead you keep arguing that you have done nothing wrong, as if that is the only thing that is important. I promise you, you are not gaining a good reputation by doing this. I was on your side in the beginning, but the last few pages have actually swayed me quite a bit. Your reluctance to just fix a very simple issue that would prevent misunderstandings is a huge red flag.
Mmm, Why does it say "Showing search results for: remind"
I already did that client was refunded and data was sent
Didn't even notice that good eye!
I would respectfully suggest that virtually nobody is buying a $25 VPS imagining they get a fully unlimited 10g port - yes, "unlimited" is a tedious marketing lie but I'm not sure 5 pages of lynching one provider out of hundreds is particularly valuable.
I think that this is sufficent enough
I will respectfully suggest that your view of the average person is way to positive.
have to agree lmao, but it does say fair use and also now says 150tb soft cap
Now remove the Unlimited traffic, and I won't complain anymore.
Look at my hero iFoggyboy: https://ifog.ch/en/vps/vps-frankfurt
1Gbit/s Shared Port (fair-use)this is way more clear, what fair-use means isn't specified but it at least doesn't say unmetered/unlimited.You're not the only provider using dumb misleading marketing but you should fix it.
im going to leave it because if I dont it would actually confuse people more, thinking that its a 100mbps port and not a 1gbps, etc my main clientelle is game hosting
port isnt shared its dedicated too
shared sounds like the server has a 1gbps port and every vps is sharing it
But not unlimited, because unlimited means I can push as much as I want, which is not allowed. You have 3 different ports
Only 1 is unlimited traffic. The other 2 are limited by not abusing the port and limited by a hard cap.
the other 2 dont sound that way to game clients tho (talking from expirence)
Game clients are children who are dumb. But ey, no one is stopping you from lying.
not lying its labeled as fair use 150tb soft cap
Can I push 1Gbps 24/7 aka unlimited? If no, then its not unlimited. It can't be unlimited and be capped at the same time.
I will probably regret even starting this, but I just have to...
So you mean every VPS have it's own dedicated 1Gbps port?
fair use, 1gbps 24/7 isnt fair usage of your allocation
server has 10gbps going into it, each vps is assigned 1gbps so that 1 person dosent interupt others speeds, usually in my niche shared means its a server with 1gpbs going into it and then sharing that with everyone
fair-use means you can't use it 24/7 so its not unlimited...
Why would anyone think it is 100Mbps if you put 1Gbps?
I'm starting to feel like I'm in a twilight zone or something, why does words not mean what they say anymore?
usually in my niche shared means its a server with 1gpbs going into it and then sharing that with everyone
no like he was saying put 100mbps unmetered
No, he said put 1Gbps fair use.
https://ifog.ch/en/vps/vps-frankfurt is the site he sent
