they dont really care tho because your paying for it, a $25 vps isnt getting 10gbps unmetered 24/7 would litreally bankrupt us if everyone did that

    Then don't sell it!
Make it 100Mbps unlimited or 10Gbps with a cap, or whatever you can afford to do. But do not sell a product that you can not afford to deliver!
This is just as obvious as people following AUP's they agree on. Contracts work both ways, if a user has to abide by your AUP, you also have to deliver what you sold. This goes without saying, this discussion should not need to exist.

yes I sold a FAIR USE port not a unmetered port, its supposed to be 1gbps not 10gbps aswell as stated when the vps was recreated it was set to unrestricted and to not bandwidth suspend for some reason

Then remove the "unlimited" and just call it "fair use according to AUP", stop trying to market it as something it is clearly not! It is totally irrelevant what you think you sell, the important thing is what your customers think they are paying for, and clearly your customers are confused by your marketing! Just fix it!

Do you seriously think you are gaining anything by even discussing this? You could have just apologized and fixed the issue that a lot of people have repeatedly pointed out is clearly misleading, and you would probably have gained a good reputation on this forum. But instead you keep arguing that you have done nothing wrong, as if that is the only thing that is important. I promise you, you are not gaining a good reputation by doing this. I was on your side in the beginning, but the last few pages have actually swayed me quite a bit. Your reluctance to just fix a very simple issue that would prevent misunderstandings is a huge red flag.

You advertise as Unmetered Traffic in the pricing page with a hint fair usage, and inside the AUP is mentioned 150TB max, get auth prior to use more.

You should be having some kind of notification system to alert the user when he hits ~120tb, so that some communication can be made(i.e automatic ticket alerting the user and proposing a meeting to sort it over etc.)

You claim that your automatic suspension/notification failed, AKA it was your mistake.

Better to refund and move on, correct your mistakes.

trust me, this drama isn't worth the 25$ you're making bro.

on the other side, Fraudscore of 70 on Fraudrecord is interesting too.

I asked if he wanted a refund and stuff like that but he isnt replying he is only replying here im more then happy to issue the refund of the service that isnt a issue

You never once offered a refund again just coming up with stuff here to make you look good. So send a picture of the refund then here I'm waiting.

Mmm, Why does it say "Showing search results for: remind"

I would respectfully suggest that virtually nobody is buying a $25 VPS imagining they get a fully unlimited 10g port - yes, "unlimited" is a tedious marketing lie but I'm not sure 5 pages of lynching one provider out of hundreds is particularly valuable.

Now remove the Unlimited traffic, and I won't complain anymore.

Look at my hero iFoggyboy: https://ifog.ch/en/vps/vps-frankfurt

1Gbit/s Shared Port (fair-use) this is way more clear, what fair-use means isn't specified but it at least doesn't say unmetered/unlimited.

You're not the only provider using dumb misleading marketing but you should fix it.

im going to leave it because if I dont it would actually confuse people more, thinking that its a 100mbps port and not a 1gbps, etc my main clientelle is game hosting

  • port isnt shared its dedicated too

  • shared sounds like the server has a 1gbps port and every vps is sharing it

  • @nbgames said: port isnt shared its dedicated too

But not unlimited, because unlimited means I can push as much as I want, which is not allowed. You have 3 different ports

    1. Unmetered
    2. Metered Fair-Use
    3. Metered Capped

Only 1 is unlimited traffic. The other 2 are limited by not abusing the port and limited by a hard cap.

  • the other 2 dont sound that way to game clients tho (talking from expirence)

  • @nbgames said: the other 2 dont sound that way to game clients tho (talking from expirence)

Game clients are children who are dumb. But ey, no one is stopping you from lying.

not lying its labeled as fair use 150tb soft cap

  • @nbgames said: not lying its labeled as fair use 150tb soft cap

Can I push 1Gbps 24/7 aka unlimited? If no, then its not unlimited. It can't be unlimited and be capped at the same time.

  • @nbgames said:

I will probably regret even starting this, but I just have to...
So you mean every VPS have it's own dedicated 1Gbps port?

fair use, 1gbps 24/7 isnt fair usage of your allocation

So you mean every VPS have it's own dedicated 1Gbps port?

server has 10gbps going into it, each vps is assigned 1gbps so that 1 person dosent interupt others speeds, usually in my niche shared means its a server with 1gpbs going into it and then sharing that with everyone

  • @nbgames said: fair use, 1gbps 24/7 isnt fair usage of your allocation

fair-use means you can't use it 24/7 so its not unlimited...

I'm starting to feel like I'm in a twilight zone or something, why does words not mean what they say anymore?
