And now all the remaining services went down.
R.I.P
Anyone else getting spam from @QuadraNet_Adam / @quadranet_roman / Quadranet? Looks like they got Dedipath's client list and is sending unsolicited email to their customers. Not the first time that they've done this: https://lowendspirit.com/discussion/comment/149305/#Comment_149305
I actually did wonder, when will someone get hands on client list and start spamming, I didnt expect this fast if this is for real..
same with limestone
Limestone is spamming customers too? I always held them in higher regard than that.
Ernie works for Limestone now, so I guess he'd have the client list. Still... not a good look at all.
Yup. I asked them and they said from online services like ZoomInfo. I knew it was BS but waiting for a quote. I asked for one in the past and they already have my info... But yeah, almost 0 chance I'll move forward. He could've lied and said it was from my prior contact with them rather than the complete lie of ZoomInfo.
I'm at two people from QN contacting me so far. I wonder how many total will email me claiming they found me online through ZoomInfo and similar sites listed as a DediPath customer. Second contact found me in a different system! Of course the emails are duplicate
maybe zoominfo got data from dedipath and resold it to others as mailing list?
From what I can tell, that's not the case.
I'm not surprised. I mean they hired Adam anyways. Quadranet is happy to do anything to make a quick buck. Remember the days of Kevin Hillstrand?
Is there anyone who has 2x XFP 1310nm Juniper Optics to borrow for 1 day in New Jersey and 1x XFP 1310nm Juniper optic in Redondo Beach? They are ordered but arrive tomorrow. Any help would be appriciated and we are willing to pay for them as long as we can get them today.
that's.... not how BGP works, the smallest space that can be announced is a /24, so that's what's rented. It's not IPXO being evil or anything.
Quadranet is know for doing scummy things. Racknerd is a son from them.
Hes not saying false things, but I guess you had something smaller than a /24 thanks to Dedipath splitting their net. You cant really expect IPXO to do the same, that's not how things work.
Closes Chrome tab...
I have Cisco XFP 10GB you can have. We are in Secaucus.
I suppose IPXO can rent out the /24 that encloses the desired smaller subnet.
If there are multiple requesters, the /24 goes to the highest bidder.
did anyone hear from evocative. They have been slient since Saturday. totally blank about my servers.
I think that VirMach already relocated servers with other provider in the same DC.
We have successfully moved the servers in Los Angeles, but we still need to move the servers in NJ.
the ones that are not responding are the flexential ones.
they only said that the dallas servers will be active until the end of september.
Hi
Did you unracked the servers yourself or asked Evocative do it for you ?
Was it easy or where they creating hurdles ?
evocative did that, and the new company will pick up the equipment and send it to their data center.
I got an email yesterday with the remote hands rate and packaging fees, I'm responsible for providing a label and scheduling a pickup. I replied asking if I can have someone pick it, they haven't responded.
Flexential has been quieter on it. My understanding is they may be sending a letter out to those with equipment. Hopefully that letter is asking for proof of ownership and not saying they're keeping the equipment as their own... They were creating some list of DediPath customers to contact.
Got one today. Looks like DediPath sold their customers informations...
Shocking.
I accept nothing less than the highest priced escorts...
Did they sell it or did some overzealous hosting companies use the information without permission? I wonder.
Its either the owners of DediPath sold it, or an ex-employee downloaded it and sold it. Don't buy the "it's listed on ZoomInfo and Apollo.io and x..." BS. These places don't have full customer lists. They might pull data from a PR stuff saying "X company partnered with DediPath" but it won't have all our info.
Is there anyone around evocative's NJ location that can help me with finding my NJ server in the dedipath racks?
I've asked Evocative to unrack and pack my servers, just need to send them Return Label and pay for RH, but don't have a lot of servers in NJ, so taking this route for NJ, a different story for LA, will share later on, once it's done
