You don't need to order a /29 and pay for it. Your server comes free with a /29 (with justification = 5 IP's) or a /30 (1 IP) by default.
Simply open a ticket and ask them to give you a /29 and provide justification per IP.
Cheap servers are back! Ping @hawc
Please use my ref link below if this helped you
Thanks @bohdans.
There are a few more servers available today, we are waiting for more IPs before we put out a large batch.
@dacentec any chance get free /29 for $20 server?
I got one
May I know what does it mean by RENT ONLY?
Thanks..
Probably means it's not a "rent to own".
Yea, ticket them, and they'll change it for you.
Did you try?
Yes, I got a refund for the block that I'd ordered. And got a free /29.
Edit: Apparently a /29 is no longer free and Dacentec has started charging $2.5 for the change.

Yeah, I had the same problem when I first got my server about 2 weeks ago, figured they would have fixed that by now but I guess not .
I ended up having to install Debian 7 and just dist-upgrading to Jessie, hope they fix that issue.
Did anyone have luck with the xenserver 6.2 or proxmox templates?
I wanted to get a taste of them before attempting kvm/ip install of latest stable editions.
I haven't used the template, but installed proxmox on top of wheezy with no issues and created working containers. There's a step by step guide in my blog, which had a few points that the official wiki misses. It's basically just another 5 minutes and a reboot.
When testing Jessie installation locally on a USB drive, there semed to be grub2 issues with the CD "version", but net.iso works. Not sure if related? Wait for 8.0.1(?) local success before (re)install Jessie over to Dacentec.
@TinyTunnel_Tom @sin @Carpe
I managed to have Jessie installed. You need to open a ticket and they will take care of it.
Any ideas when the dual L5420 with 16GB RAM be back?

Keep refreshing the page

@dacentec, thx my page monitor bot let me know. Will be ordering soon!
@dacentec: ddos protection is coming eh?
do they still offer this deal?
they still do, they add stock every day at multiple times during the day. keep refreshing.
So hopefully more today!
@dacentec, any ideas if more servers today?
they only have 1 server in stock lmao
We are working on getting some more IP space so we can't really flood the stock out.
There are some more server available now.
