Test it out.
It's pretty bad to China at around 300 - 400ms. If you're wanting pretty good pings for Asia/etc, you'll want our Las Vegas location.
Francisco
Double negative, so I agree :-)
S'what I assumed but wasn't sure :P
Francisco
OK, I found a use for a box in Luxembourg... is what I'm telling myself.
Good for me at Mumbai , India. Around 150 ms.
Glad to hear it
Francisco
"None of my current boxes have anycast or floating IP support so I have to buy more services with Fran".
It's the most logical response.
Francisco
@Francisco what is the ETA? I'd need a new LEB and currently there are no good offers around, so where is my new Luxembourg box?
Well, the gears packed and waiting at FH to ship. Hopefully it ships this week then we pad that figure by a week or two for roll out time.
I know, it isn't 'now' like we'd all like to see, but I wanted to give people some lead time incase they wanted services for anycast.
Francisco
Thats going to be a hard month full of waiting then. Ok Santa, i want it for Christmas the latest.
btw. 1 minute response time for that text? nice!
Franta Claus will make sure you have it for then.

Using your ARINs in EU? Does ARIN allow that?
on a side note, server.lu is pretty decent. Customer network requirements(such as BGP session or IP announcement) can take quite bit time, though.
@Jack something changed recently?

If that was the case everyone would be buying /22 for $500 from ARIN instead of $5000 from RIPE. Not saying it's not possible, it IS indeed technically possible but the question is is it allowed by ARINs terms. Last time I asked(ending of 2013 though), they said no.
@William may know more.
Don't worry about IP addresses for us. I already have everything worked out with whomever we're snagging IP's off. All by the book.
I'll go into it once ARIN is dry out of IP's
Francisco
can't see no pricing anywhere
is it available now?
Not yet.
WHEN?
Soon
I'm just finalizing node installs right now. Aldryic will do his once over and we'll get going.
As for anycast/floating IP's, that will take a bit longer (couple weeks, probably less).
Francisco
Woo!
We were expecting to get things selling last week but we had a few motherboards get damaged and a RAID card as well.
I didn't want to roll out w/ only half our plans in stock.
Francisco
As @Francisco said, this weekend
Gief me now, need!
That sucks.
Makes sense; but you should do pre-orders
+1.
I want that stock.
My body is ready.
Fran pls, have mercy on us.
Sounds like a scam.
