Thanks for the update @Damian :P
Glad to hear it!
Heh, and with UPS you'll see it bounce all over the place before reaching NY.
Hahaha. Not so sexy maybe xD
Louisville, KY -> East Syracuse, NY.... almost there!
We'll be back online soon!
(edit) Apparently LET no longer supports embedding videos from youtube
@Damian Will them get online on Friday?
@Taylor
@jeffpan: Yes.
@Damian
Click on share, embed then on "Use old embed code" so its ticked. It will start in object not Iframe.
lol they remove it because the speakwhatsreal guy?
wanting for the servers to get relaunched.
btw, will you email me for the new IPs?
Servers are updated to "On Vehicle For Delivery Today".
@Taylor: I tried that, but Vanilla removed bits and pieces of the text block. Oh well..
@jeffpan: Yes.
Nice, are they delivered yet?
I just checked, and....
Yarr!
Nice
Let's hope they'll get racked up and running before the weekend
Our goal is to get everyone's services back on the 'net today.
Once that's over and done with, take a break and grab a pint. You deserve it after this fiasco.
Chris is heading to the datacenter momentarily to rack us up.
Just thought of another issue: a utility server that holds our OS templates, amongst other things, didn't get sent. It's always one thing or another...
Oh don't worry, we will!
OS templates are easy to get back for openvz...
I know, it's just the "oh yeah...." factor
I should say openvz templates are easy to get back assuming you didn't make any custom ones...
Me too, you can help balance out our cancellations
There's a few. Luckily, Adam has them on his local computer, so it's just a matter of uploading them.
This. I kinda feel bad for only having a 32mb box with you :P
ChicagoVPS-Chris?
Yes. @CVPS_Chris.
You had cancellations over this? It's a $1.50 VPS... it's not like the person is losing a lot of money or anything...
IPXCore had many mroe services, the $1.50 was just a very special offer just for LET (and i don't think they made any profit of it)
Wow, props to him for helping another provider out I always thought he lived in Chicago :P
@TheHackBox I think he's talking about his other plans too (not only the 32mb boxes).
Also, @Damian I'd buy another from you guys just to keep you afloat :P (perhaps at the sale? wink wink nudge nudge)
@HalfEatenPie first of all, you should be sleeping :P
@HalfEatenPie and @gsrdgrdghd I know... just I find it silly how someone could have possibly canceled a $1.50 VPS over some minor downtime.
I expect more cancellations too, once we're up and people can get their data off.
With this move, our costs are actually going down, so profits will be going up.
This move is really ends up being for everyone's benefit, I just wish that Atjeu hadn't completely fucked us over on it
You don't need to do that, we're not going anywhere :P
(edit)...unless you want to. We like money.
Our goal is 100% uptime, regardless of price. Having downtime irks me severely.
