@MarkTurner
They're an enigma :P
@fkj - Yomura is an acquisition company, it has no public interface. It owns and operates the datacentres that its subsidiaries like Delimiter sell services from.
Apparently they have some money to throw around

But is it a registered company somewhere? If yes - where?
Illuminati
What? Really?
Yumora Holdings should really take advantage of their situation. Own datacenters, own staff, own sub-divisions. They need to promote the fact that they own and operate their own, wholly owned datacenters. Ugh, the possibility of potential..
for who?

No, Lizard Men.
Hahaha..
Well,
I can tell you that they had something called "IntStatus", available under intstatus.yomura.jp

Until the previous month, they had a Helpdesk, available under helpdesk.yomura.jp, and they had an affiliate area, under affiliates.yomura.jp.

Although, this afilliate area seemed to be particularly created to serve Delimiter. You can see their blog post on November, 2010: http://web.archive.org/web/20111231054007/http://blog.delimiter.us/?p=83
Do they really OWN datacentre or that's just some rented place inside random DCs with own gear?
From what @MarkTurner has said in the past they own their own physical datacenters. "There name on the door."
I mean for real ;-)
the japanese-ness looks fake to me as they talk too much english and their website is .jp, not .co.jp which is a big tell.
so thats that
also if remember correctly there s a link between yomura and delimeter
which is also a bit dodgy (or at least was) when it comes to legal matters, from time to time delimeter goes by the name delimeter US(A) however the only registered company is (or was) based in the UK, and that one wasn't (isn't?) operational (not active, no tax returns)

Yomura Holdings completes the acquistion of Delimiter USA
The acquisition strengthens Yomura's position in the retail VPS market in North America
Yomura today announced the completion of its acquisition of Delimiter USA. The acquisition strengthens Yomura's position in the retail VPS market in North America.
Delimiter USA will be maintained as a separate brand identity but sales and support will be restructured and integrated into Yomura's existing operation over the next 3 months. Former customers of Delimiter will immediately benefit from the acquisition with a wider choice of VPS locations and products.
Delimiter is a market leader - and the first to offer truly unlimited bandwidth. The acquisition will help Delimiter reach a global audience through Yomura's 37 datacenters coupled with 15 years of market and technical expertise', said Giles Anderson, Director of Acquisitions at Yomura Holdings, 'We're excited to give Delimiter's customers access to one of the most expansive networks in this market as well as drive Delimiter's team to innovate new firsts'

LONDON, ENGLAND, November 17, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Yomura Holdings will add its third wholly-owned US datacenter in the West Wacker area of Chicago, IL. The new facility is expected to house upto 500 racks of equipment and provide room for growth over the next three years.
"With our Miami datacenter running almost at capacity, we need to add additional space as quickly as possible. Our new site at West Wacker gives us room for 12-18 months immediate growth", said Eli Goldblum, Yomura's Director of Service Operations North America, "Many of our brands are in double-digit growth phases so opening a large facility like this will allow us to expand our DSL, Voice and Hosting services into the Chicago metro-area."
Construction will start in December and first services are expected to be online in late March 2011.

UK tax acc only have to be filled if they earn 80k+/year
And that's only 80K a year of EU sales.
Yes but 80K / year is nothing, they seem to be larger than this.
They could just use multiple company names?
@wych for dodging taxes? I doubt that would be very legal...
Depends, you can do it if they are all doing different sectors work etc.
I imagine its a shell for all the sub companies, so overall it wouldnt turn over much money.
I am not sure that it is illegal to have multiple companies operating at the same time? If all is properly accounted and etc. I don't see a problem there.
@Alex_LiquidHost splitting your work to multiple companies doing the same thing for the purpose of avoiding taxes (VAT registration) can certainly get you in trouble.
Then it wont be an issue, depends how good your accountant is.
To me, they seem like a simple company that hasn't properly publicly been established from the corporate level. Submit a ticket at delmiter and I'm sure they can give you information on the company.
