    FWIW I do have a VPS with them and it's working (tested a minute ago) but seems to have been rebooted about 14 or 15 hours ago.

    I have to say though that I never really used that VPS because it serial-crashed due to some disk problem iirc.

    Their support was polite and friendly but at the end of the day nothing got fixed and all I got was nicely worded but empty promises.

    yes, same has been happening, offline for many days. and now discord is also inaccessible for me.

    That pretty much depends. If you are smart you start to look for a new host yesterday. If not you grind your teeth and deal with it.

    So it's dead(pooled)?

    First whole UK node went down and now discord is closed or smth.

    EDITED: Oh, I got it now, there's some drama and probably this guy Ellis did something weird.

    I am sorry, but I got to know all of this stuff happening today.
    My VPS was working fine in the morning, but, all of a sudden, few hours ago it went down.
    I checked discord, the group channels got vanished!
    website, not working!

    then I came across this discussion, where they say that they are going under a new management.

    so, what's now? are we going to get refunded? or we are doomed? or we are getting migrated and its just few hours away?

    guys?

    Hostaris customers were already doomed the moment Ellis took over of the business.

    From their discord:

    We regret to inform you that Hostaris will be closing down, effective immediately. You have 14 days to gather your data. After this period, nodes will be powered down and cancellations will be processed. Refunds will be issued on a pro rata basis upon closure for pre-paid plans and credit balances.

    This decision has been difficult for us, but it has become necessary due to Josh’s continual actions, including revoking access to company subnets, impersonating staff, and other misconduct.

    Let's not be masochists, look for other services.

    It's a shame because I also have Ryzen, 2GB, 2 IP, Unlimited BW at a cheap price. Thank God this drama happened before my renewal this June ;)

    They might do this for trusted users and/or for disputes against untrusted companies.
