BuyShared is becoming NameCrane! New Locations, plans, and WEBSITE!
Just received this.
On March 6th your BuyShared services will be transferred to NameCrane (https://namecrane.com) our up and coming domain registrar!
After March 6th you must use the NameCrane website to pay your invoices, submit support tickets, etc.
For those that don’t know, NameCrane is made up of Francisco (yours truly), Karen, & our newest addition, Mike. You will see a few support staffers from BuyVM as well as some new faces.
While we’re still working on getting the domain side of the business signed off and selling, all BuyShared Shared, Reseller, & Blesta licenses, will be transferred to it. Don’t worry, your pricing will stay the same. If you still have concerns, please open a ticket or contact us on our Discord.
Why is this happening? We feel that Shared & Reseller plans go better with Domains than it does with VPS services. This will also allow us to put out new locations (hint hint) without having to loop VPS services into it.
What will be transferred?
- All Shared, Reseller, & Blesta licenses
- Your Premier Billing status, if applicable
- Your logins and any sub users
What won’t be transferred?
- Invoices
- Current Credit Cards & Paypal Billing Agreements
- Support tickets
- Credits
Credits can be transferred/split between companies, but you’ll have to open a ticket with both companies to arrange this. You’ll have until March 31th to request credit transfers.
New Locations & Plans!
We’ll be launching 2 new locations for Shared & Resellers on the 6th as well as a slew of new plans. These new plans will be much larger than our current offerings, as well as include new features.
If you haven’t noticed, all shared & resellers were upgraded to new Ryzen 7900 CPU’s and much faster, and larger, local NVME storage. All nodes are now 10Gbit as well, but that’s more show boating than anything else.
Once the transfer is completed we’ll send another email announcing the new locations and plans!
We thank you for your years of patronage and we’ll see you at NameCrane!
Frantastic! 💯

Francisco
Let's go @Francisco !!!
Congrats!!!
Lets not get too excited here. This is just shared/resellers.
Domains are still a TBD. I'm hammering at it, it's just a slog.
Francisco
Forget ICANN, now we need ICRANE.
What location? What plans?!
Why all those teasing, spill the beans already!
GLWS :-D
Good luck @Francisco!
Thanks for posting this @DP!
I can't wait to buy a domain from Namecrane. You said next week, right?
What services will remain with BuyShared?
None, buyshared will merge with namecrane.
Kinda like the Constructicons.
Francisco
Plot twist: these are three personalities of the same person.
Have you ever seen a photo of them together?
Hopefully it's Singapore. 🤞
Vancouver Island!
No. It's bigger! It Rocks!
I also used to think this but unless there's something very wrong with them, it can't be the case.
A few years ago Karen wasn't very helpful.
Fran issued roughly six months of credits relative to the service I was using at the time.
That being said, my account was eventually closed because the email address associated with it wasn't the same as the one I use for PayPal.
Romania, please.
Francisco
When Oradea, Romania location?
Finally it comes!
@Francisco Received the email, and looking forward to NameCrane. Roughly how long before the domain registrar comes online? Months, years?
Soom (tm), for sure.
