Speaking for myself: it was a one-time mistake with this guy... so basically when my contract period ends, it's done. Until then my opinion is that you should get what you've paid for/what has been promised.

Well, I have worked with italians long enough to conclude that when there's something they don't like or properly understand, they'll just scream, blame you, blame the weather/sun/zodiac sign, but won't even consider they may actually be wrong.

“It is common for Italians to kiss on the cheek when they meet, irrespective of their gender. Stand up out of respect when an older person enters the room. It is important to dress neatly and respectfully. Cover your mouth when yawning or sneezing.”

That is actually common in many "latin" cultures. There is nobody more "latin" than the Italians, I think, but there are vast differences between the various regions of Italy, sometimes bigger than the differences between the Italians as a whole and other "latin" people.

Still, a jerk is a jerk, irrespective of the heritage and painting everyone in that culture with the same brush is not an undertaking dignifying you.

Figure out which OS you want, set grub to launch the installer on reboot.

Or I could use the qemu hack, but that is not how it is supposed to work. I am installing fairly often as I use such things for tests.
