@Worldstream_Frank Add me to the list. I've got 3 servers with nexusbytes all on NL. Really hoping to login and get data. Just found out about this situation.
@bb62 yes, happy to clarify again so it gets visibility. Worldstream is NL-based, and we'll power on the infrastructure side.
@andante, happy to hear. Be advised it may take some time before everything is fully powered on. We are simply powering on the infrastructure side, so we can't give any guarantee that everything will go smoothly.
@MGarbis we do thorough formatting, however regardless I'd say do an erase afterwards. We don't have knowledge of the platform itself.
@funaki by reading out statement you should know enough.
During the mentioned timeframe we will power on the infrastructure. I can't give guarantees which services will or will not be reachable. This is what we can do to alleviate the situation.
I'll try to answer questions, but remember that have not been on the management side of things, just the infrastructure.
Hope everything goes smoothly for everyone!
@Worldstream_Frank
UPDATE: (12:14)
server is accessible.
Thank you again!
Big thank you for understanding and high level of service!
12:10 CET time
my NL server is not accessible so far
(I will try again in few minutes later)
NL server is now up.
Do you what you gotta do ✌️
@zlatoslav great. I can confirm as well that the address pings.
My backup is underway, thanks again @Worldstream_Frank.
Excellent attitude and help being given to our members. Thank you so much.
@Worldstream_Frank Thank you very much mate. Managed to backup 3 of the important hosts. You are amazing and thank you for going the extra mile.
@Worldstream_Frank - I am not a customer of NexusBytes, but RESPECT for what you did.
Meanwhile... why is @seriesn not banned yet? People have to resort to PayPal disputes and claims for their money back; no answer from provider, no announcement, nothing, complete silence while the customers struggle for their data, and provider is still not banned.
@Worldstream_Frank and all others - just to say my NL server was also up. I didn't have anything of importance on it but I was able to login and tidy up ready for deletion. Many thanks for enabling that. Hopefully everyone else has got their stuff too...
Is there any way I can access my control panel you guys think? I want to download my most recent files and database from my websites but I cant seem to acces it. https://pger1.mymanagementpanel.com:2222
It says License check failure
I don't think so.
That's at Hetzner I believe.
Sad thanks for the answer!
Thank you one more time! @Worldstream_Frank I was able to download everything I needed ❤️
Thank you very much indeed @Worldstream_Frank! I made backups every night, but for some reason I was missing data of one customer. Got that now, everything up and running again!
I just want to add clarification or reword this a little bit.
Radic is not responsible for the New York Servers. NexusBytes was. Radic offered a service to NexusBytes in New York where NexusBytes no longer paid and therefore (in breach of their contract) Radic no longer could maintain services in New York for NexusBytes.
It's just who they used. The responsibility still lies with NexusBytes.
@HalfEatenPie yeah I meant to say Radic and ReliableSite, were merely providing the servers to NexusBytes and not responsible for anything to anyone other than NexusBytes directly while still being paid. Since NexusBytes broke the contract by non-payment the deal was off and they were within their rights to do anything they wanted to remedy the situation in their own interests. I think by now surely everyone must know this. The issues were solely and completely NexusBytes issues for not paying their bills. So apologies for the miswording.
Did anyone try to take over/keep NexusByte running/keep the lights turned on?
We might be able to help in that regard but we don't know how realistic that still is at this time?
We did.
Almost all nodes are formatted at this point with only Worldstream giving a few hours of grace. Once that's over they get nuke/paved.
Francisco
@Francisco yeesh! How can anybody let it get it that far.... Damn!
It has just been powered off it seems.
Good luck to all impacted!
Any idea who is NB's Singapore upstream. Appreciate some guidance. Thank you.
Host Universal Pty Ltd / RansomIT probably since that's an upstream.
@MikeA, thank you for the guidance. I'll try my luck.
It seems ransomit is already selling the servers that Nexus Bytes was probably using.
3900X for $180 in Tokyo is tempting.
Oh my....
This is from Discord (props to RaidAndFade).
But wow @VirMach. I'd say this is poor taste. But hey up to you how you want to do it.
LOL. Business can be like that, sometimes.
If anyone remembers, NexusBytes did the same thing creating offers when HostSolutions fell. It's nothing new.
