I bought 4 the order pages was contradictory it said shipped from EU on the page entering the shipping address, but the order confirmation page says shipped from the UK, no idea which one is correct hopefully it's UK since the deliver address is in the UK.

My local retail store is selling YubiKey 5C NFC for $65 each. That's insane. Luckily, we got this CloudFlare offer to save some money.
Most likely they go short on stock. I would assume Yubico was caught by surprise, not expecting so many orders coming from such Cloudflare offer.
With so many sales, and possibly out of stock soon, I am starting to guess a new Yubikey will be invented and released in 2023.
This is great! We're moving towards Webauthn / FIDO2 for two-factor auth at work and use Yubikeys for that, so it'll be good to have some for personal use too.

Anything is better than nothing. Even 4 is better than nothing. Usually people use just 2 (1 main + 1 backup).

Yes, they work very well with GnuPG on Linux and Windows (gpg4win), you store your SSH key as a third type of subkey (authentication), and use gpg-agent as a drop-in replacement for ssh-agent (or for pageant if using Putty/Kitty on Windows).
There are many tutorials on the web including one at yubico.com, but it is quite involved.
One key takeaway (pun intended), to note before you start, is that when you write the secret keys to the YubiKey, gpg deletes them from the keyring in that process, so a backup beforehand is essential if you want to write the same key to your backup YubiKey, it can't be extracted out of the first YubiKey.
