  • .... thinking about getting one.. i see it as meh it's a whole $10... can't get too screwed over.. BUT.. i can't be bothered writing in my details for another billing portal -.- lazyness has gotten the best of me today.. but seriously, Delimiter/Yomura should have more info about their "retrofitted DC"

  • @autosnipe Thats why you use Lastpass's form filler. Write once and then auto enter in all these WHMCS order forms :)

  • coz i am never on my computer.. it's on the other side of the table lol... i just steal the fiance's laptop whenever lol...

  • @Autosnipe - well get her to do the typing then ;)

  • @netomx - FFS - tomorrow I'll have the box pulled and 2GB inserted. I had them take the first box they could find to get it online for you.

  • Quick question @MarkTurner Connection to tulix.com & tshost.com?

Thank you! In faxct, I'm working on it.

How do you manage reinstalls? I want to use Minstall but I'm afraid of brcking it haha

  • @autosnipe - no connection. I think they are our neighbors on the west side of the building.

  • @Netomx - just use the reinstaller. In WHMCS you go to Services, then select the server and under there you'll see an option to reinstall OS. Select what you want, then just reboot the server. As the atoms dont have a hardware rebooter, just go into your server and type reboot.

  • @MarkTurner http://bgp.he.net/AS7363
    IPv4 Peer - Tulip Systems
    IPv4 Prefix - 208.93.118.0/23 TULIP SYSTEMS, INC.
Looking on Netblock there is tshost.net tulix.com and one other site

as you said earlier you are in charge of the Network.. so i think this is something you know. especially since even on wht tshost.net has been MIA since '05

  • @autosnipe - We lease some some IPs from them, but there is no business connection other than vendor/vendee, where they are the vendor and we are the vendee.

Tulix seems to specialise in video streaming, they have a lot high profile customers. I've not heard of TSHost, that maybe from when Tulix was a public company.

  • @autosnipe - TSHost seems to be listing in 2010, they only joined in 2010.

  • They had the username tulipsystems1 or something

  • @MarkTurner - I always top out at 100 mb/s when downloading from Datashack/Wholesale. Do you know what is limiting the connection?
    http://www.datashack.net/speedtest/1gb.bin

I was getting a lot better speeds when uploading, but not right now for some reason.

  • for those bro have got BL460C, could please help to check the harddisk's power on hours? thanks :)

The OS doesn't see the drive directly, but rather the RAID controller which gives no info to smartctl, so I'm not sure how to check :/

Yes, that works like a charm. (Took me about an hour to install Centos that way.)
