Virtual server not found error is expected and will be manually fixed, we're going to work on patching it tomorrow hopefully.

So our purchased services are pretty much useless until this issue is fixed...? I can't even reinstall the OS.

  • Why are there so many impatient muppets out there? You got a bargain: wait for it.

    Thanked by 2FrankZ imok
  • Anyone gets "Virtual server not found error" can use the VPS control panel (SolusVM) to manage the VPS instead

Just checking on the Flash Sales Purchase from VirMach, is it normal for the service to stay as "Pending" after payment?

If yes, normally how many hours does it take for the service to be activated??
I made a purchase about 12 hours ago the payment was successful, Invoice is marked as Paid.

Sometime the product is marked as "BF-SPECIAL-CREATE" and sometime it is "BF-SPECIAL-2020".

Maybe We have to wait.

Good deals are worth the wait

I previously waited for close to 1 month for my $15/y 250GB (Chicago Storage) purchase from HostHatch.

^ This. Requires at least half a brain though and assumes SolusVM will open. :|

  • I was able to get through till about the payment step and then it returned me back to the Cart page. Does it mean that my order did not get through @VirMach ?

    virmach.fat32.top error 520...
    Edit: it works now

    Thanked by 1FAT32
  • I tried ordering and completed the payment but got a notification that I have store credit for the same amount a bit after, however the server is marked as active in WHMCS.

I'm assuming I didn't get it? Just reporting just in the off chance that something might be borked.

Off topic (sorry): Is there a specific reason for not allowing rDNS to be set (in SolusVM) by the end luser? Not that I've any problems, as Tickets were acted upon quickly, but it must put a burden on Support.

I think that they want to avoid a free-for-all, as far as running a mail server is concerned

Yup and ties in with port 25 restrictions. Makes particular sense on the customer demographics that host on the U.S. West connection. ;)

    There we go.
    $4/yr
    KVM - 1 GIGABIT
    384MB RAM
    1 vCORE
    10GB SSD (RAID 10)
    250GB BANDWIDTH
    BUFFALO, NY LOCATION
    1 DEDICATED IPv4

    yay

But I don't have any real use case for it, since there isn't enough bandwidth for real VPN usage...

Grabbed the $4/yr - nearly half the price and half the bandwidth but will replace my VPN VPS about this time, next year. :) For all the times that I'll need to use a 'merican VPN; suits me fine.
