Thanks for the update.
Wishing you and your loved ones a safe, healthy and prosperous new year.
Understandably. Hope you've been able to recover and all the best for 2021!
Understandably! Such a short update is more than sufficient for me.
Stay safe brother.![:) :)](https://lowendtalk.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Folks, in case anyone is yet to get their server provisioned, check if you had closed the ticket through which you had placed the order![ ](https://lowendtalk.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
I had closed my ticket and below is the response from @hosthatch for the delay in provisioning my HK server.
Oops!
Yeah I believe that's only for the offers without a direct order link, i.e the ones on the front page of this thread.
I think most people here have had their HK servers deployed but AFAIK the pending ones now would be the ones in Milan or Madrid, or the Milan+Madrid+Sydney combo even - but I may be wrong though.
All of mine (all 14 locations) ordered through ticket were delivered. I'm just waiting on the Milan/Madrid/Sydney combo.
Milan/Madrid/Sydney still pending ...
And i have not been able to upload custom ISO for a week for some reason .. ticket opened and pending since then..
@hosthatch Does this include upgrade orders from BF (order accepted but ticket still on hold)?
@hosthatch IPv6 in Sydney still not work (Destination unreachable: Address unreachable)
Just to remind to become your homework to do![:) :)](https://lowendtalk.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
just got two VMs from the small 3x special combo provisioned:
Milan:
Madrid:
@Falzo - Looks good![:) :)](https://lowendtalk.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Even though it was delayed but I'm sure they had their reasons and did what they could to expedite deployment.
Props to Abdullah & Team.
Is port speed only 1 Gbit/s in those locations? I mean it's more than enough but I remember he said something with two digits (10 or 40 GBit/s), can't recall if it was internal or external network though.
Well, 1gbps on those exotic location already pretty superb.. 10gbps would be excellent..
The original post says:
But I wonder if that's not accurate for the 'new' locations? Either that or the node has 10 Gb but there's some congestion on the network.
I'd imagine they limit instances though, right? The hardware is 10Gb but no individual instance allowed to go that fast even at burst?
Also, iirc he said they bought 40GBit/s equipment for internal that they're implementing this year.
I've hit 4 Gb/s in transfers from my Chicago storage VPS, and I saw 6 Gb/s in YABS benchmarks from a London VPS.
Interesting. I most always cap my transfers or they're short so they don't have time to ramp up that far. Good to know.![:) :)](https://lowendtalk.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Do these guys ever check tickets? Or are they having those tickets for fun?
They do, and they probably have tons of them so you'll just have to wait I suppose.
They've answered mine. What'd you ask for?
Update my Madrid and Milan were provisioned today.. I suppose Sydney will follow soon.
Cannot find them yet.
Also, is DDoS-Protection enabled on all locations?
@hosthatch
Are the new location available now? Milan and Madrid
Well @Falzo got his so they're probably in the midst of provisioning them for the others.
Got mine as well (Madrid & Milan) early this morning (also capped to 1G).
Same here, got Madrid and Milan, limited to 1Gbit.
I asked Hosthatch about "Voxility" ddos in a ticket, as per their website https://hosthatch.com/features
Their response was that it costs extra and only available in certain locations:
DDoS protection is currently available in Amsterdam, London, Chicago and Los Angeles. It costs $5 per IP address per month.
Not sure if other basic ddos protection may be automatically on for all locations, though their response seemed to be in reference to any ddos protection
Mhnn.. weired, it appears they're supporting this in Zurich too. Also, I can only find it for $3 but not $5 to order separately.
Can you post the available add-ons (licences and such)? Most providers have that indexed somewhere publicly, or at least expose it during product setup in WHMCS.
Maybe you have different upgrade options than me. My "Promotional Package NVMe" has no add-ons/upgrades displayed on my control panel, except "buy more bandwidth" under the Bandwidth menu.
