    HostHatch at work.

  • got all my HK servers fyi.

  • Same, no email, but it's there waiting for me in dashboard!

  • @SP7 said: Get your priorities straight and spend more time with your kids than trash talking some randoms.

No, you asked if they were all on vacation like a little snot and then followed it up with "Did my post look look like I was begging for something for free?" which @vyas11 never said anything close to. You were looking to start shit and did what you had to in order to create it. It's okay my girl gets like that sometimes too. Just take a Midol and get your head straight.

  • Same here, HK provisioned. Thanks @hosthatch

  • Yeah Hosthatch is not sending email when servers are ready.

Then you'd have a record of when it was actually provisioned.

Good point. The servers do have a billing date starting from the purchase date, not the provision date as they should.

  • It seems to me the email/no email and billing date thing is at least partly related to whether it is a bundle. If no bundle -> no email, no automatic change of billing date. If bundle -> they break your single invoice into multiple services ready for provisioning which generates a new invoice (but no extra charge, just internal accounting) and this triggers an email and sets the billing date correctly (assuming they do provision promptly).

  • Got my HK box, 8GB

Same here...... can never reinstall... :'(

  • tomletomle Member, LIR

Same here, can't reinstall my HKG server that was delivered earlier this morning.

  • My HK server was not the promo plan, the VZ plan. Also found the invalid template issue when trying to reinstall. Now it remains at Ubuntu 16. I mean it only shows Ubuntu 16 not matter which distro I install. I have reported this issue a week ago, but guess they are deploying BF and Christmas promo servers. So we'll have to wait a few days, since HK machines are gradually delivered.

Yeah it hasn't worked great for me either, but the VPS is amazing once you get it working correctly. :)

Mine the OpenVZ and not the promo plan, not newly provisioned this promo session, the same problem.

@hosthatch I understand that you guys have worked very hard in provisioning the service and it was absolutely fine that the delivery date was just a few days late. However, the panel being not functional is a main hindrance to our usage.

    • root password being wrong or not able to change
    • can't reinstall OS

Would you mind fixing it please? Thank you.

My HK server delivered with Centos and I can reinstall it with Ubuntu 18.04, root password working normally.

Maybe there is some glitch here and there. Hope the they can fixed sooner.

would you mind trying to reinstall by mounting the ISO, say of Debian 9 or CentOS8.

seems the operation of iso mounting could break down a while.

My impression is that most of the servers provisioned are single orders and the new location bundles have not been set up yet.

Yes, location bundle/combo is still pending.
