Just noticed this on WHT thought you guys might be interested..
C/P from WHT:
Yes. I'm serious. $19 per month. No gimmicks, no gotchas.
The processors are mixed so it's pretty much what we have on the shelf. This is a great chance to get that backup server, project server or small production box you've been wanting.
This offer is limited to current stock so when they're gone they're gone.
Setup time is 2-3 business days.

The Atom ones are out of stock but P4s are available. Think it would be a good deal if you just need a download machine...but Windows is not free though, would be nice if you can bring your own Windows key, does anyone know if that is possible?
@zhuanyi
Not sure why anyone would want to buy the atom over the other offerings?
I purchased the core2quad since it has the most ram..
I guess as a download machine you don't really need that much CPU power
Probably buying one of these quads ^_^
I have been with Wholesale for a week or two and everything has been great.
Yeah I'm curious on what CPU I will get..
I ordered two of the Atom servers myself - one to host the ShoveHost website and another to run backups. Great deal!
I just ordered one. It will replace the VPS I pay $15 a month for as my backup. Just $4 more and I get the whole server to play with.
still there?
Running on a budget.
FYI directadmin can be obtained FOC (USD5 onetime setup) and windows 2008 license starts from 15/m
Try selecting Core2Duo/Quad. Strangely no setup fee for DA on pentium servers
I wonder did you guys/girls not know about Kimsufi all this time?
At $19 this offer is a pretty average deal, the only things salvaging it somewhat are 5 free IPs and unmetered b/w.
Kimsufi is in France. These are in the U.S. I need US servers.
Actually directadmin license is free the $5 is if you want them to install directadmin for you, on my previous server I installed directadmin my self and asked them for the license and there was no additional charge..
So OVH should start offering Kimsufis from BHS Canada.
They dont have near enough capacity in BHS for all the seedboxes
Perhaps I refuse to use OVH? Perhaps I want my servers in the US?
OVH is always cheaper but I absolutely love WSI/DS and absolutely hate OVH...
Looking at that video for their plans for the datacenter at BHS they were planning a datacenter for 360000 servers. No idea how much of it was built already.
Let us know what CPU you end up getting..
Thanks for the info.
Wonder how much OS reloads are.
No problem. It will probably be a day or two before I get it .
I think OS reloads are free (within reason) or at least 1 free /mo
If you have a mix of collocated and dedicated from them its free upto the number of servers you have. (So if you have 6 servers, you can request 6 reloads, etc...). Even if you go over that I think it's only $5 a reload which is still cheap.
Wow that is cheap!
I wonder why reinstalls are not automated in the first place. Doesn't sound very efficient...
@rds100 - Our reinstalls take about 20 minutes on average. So its either they have fast techs, they can reinstall automatically somehow or they swap out the drives.
It would be nice if they had something like OVH where pretty much everything is automated..
My previous servers with DS/WII always had IPMI so not sure how much of an inconvenience it is to have to put in a ticket to reinstall the OS, but I'm installing proxmox anyways so hopefully I won't need to reload the OS ever!
This is considered average because one other company on a different continent offers a similar deal with less IPs and more restrictive bandwidth?
