The point is english is the world language, why you personally deny that is unknown. In your local area, town, whatever people may speak something else more frequently but i'm talking world wide, as a whole, english is the only world language, hands down. Otherwise your site wouldn't be in english, and you wouldn't be speaking english right now.

  • @taipres You fail to remember that the variants of English are fairly different .

"The domination of the English language globally is undeniable. English is the language of diplomacy and international communications, business, tourism, education, science, computer technology, media and Internet. Because English was used to develop communication, technology, programming, software, etc, it dominates the web. 70% of all information stored electronically is in English."

    The? No.
'A' world language would make much more sense.

What about Arabic, Spanish and French?

  • Funny how as one of your citations you list a site that tries to promote the use of English

While english is often used i would not see it as world language, i just use it here because anyone does it - In German forums i use German and so on...

Nous pouvons aussi continuer en Francais, si vous voulez?
sau Romana (care este o limba foarte frumoasa de altfel)?
    畢竟雖然我寧願粵語.
(Now i had to set my charset extra for this and orientate me new on my keyboard :()

Ha even programming languages, forgot about that, but since American companies invented a lot of them, makes sense.

English as a global language, Cambridge University Press, 1997.

Think you can cite some sources that are less than 15 years old, or from reliable sources? (Yahoo Answers-type site are not reliable, certified sources)

  • PHP wasent invented by an American company :(.

100% of all electronically stored data is binary, so that means binary is the world language!!

BBC Basic is where its at

  • taiprestaipres Member

@Aldryic yeah even more people speak english now, even more people program(which are english syntax) etc...so you lost, get over it. It's more than obvious to anyone not trying to troll like yourself that english is the world language. Is really no debate it is what it is.

@taipres said: Ha even programming languages, forgot about that, but since American companies invented a lot of them, makes sense.

According to the HOPL online database of languages,[1] out of the 8500+ programming languages recorded, roughly 2400 of them were developed in the United States, 600 in the United Kingdom, 160 in Canada, and 75 in Australia.

3235/8500 isn't even close to half. Try again. Just because you don't know about something doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

@taipres said: so you lost, get over it.

Lost what? All I see is you tripping over your own made-up nonsense and failing to prove any kind of a point. Unless of course, your intention this entire time was to prove your ignorance on everything outside your parents' house <3

  • @Aldryic your fraction should be 2400/8500. He's referring to American ones

I was being generous and combining the four to boost it a bit, since his argument is for English in general, not just AE. Still didn't help his case much.

@Aldryic i'm done wasting time on this, I think it's a language barrier or you just like to troll but either way responding to your posts is a waste of time.

In that case, I should be able to effectively silence you for good simply by responding to any post you make here.

Not that you'll actually go through with it, of course. No matter how many times you're proven wrong (quite often proving yourself wrong), you'll still continue your 'know-it-all' drama.

The sad part is guys... just imagine how his family must feel. We only have to tolerate this occasionally... imagine having to live with that. >_<

Don't speak bad about my family, I don't care how hurt or embarrassed you are, your character has been shown to the whole world in this thread, it's best you don't continue. And if you ask me you're an embarrassment for BuyVM and Francisco doesn't need you, all you do is bring down the companies image.

  • All I gotta say is... LOL and...

    JESUS CHRIST.
