Invoice #824002
cc @serverpoint
Invoice #824058 thank you double please .
I grabbed a second location, please double order #8431667 as well!
Order 4888036, double bandwidth please.
Thank you.
Tempted to get a VM, but..
Who do you use now, and at what capacity?
Invoice #824231
thank you double please .
This offer is now over! Thank you all for the orders! You will all get your bandwidth upgraded over the next few days.
You will receive an email via our ticket system confirming this.
it still not fix right?
As far as I understand, the issue you were having should not be happening.
But there are other latency issues due to some fiber cuts in the SEA region...
Invoice #824229
Ordered on 16th Feb, double bandwidth please.
Not fixed. All malaysia ISPs are routed via Australia. Well, I did only test their top 4 ISPs which pretty much account for 98% of their internet so yea, can consider it as "all". TM, DiGi, and Maxis all not routing properly. TM account for like 95% of their internet alone?
You can check their prefix here - https://db-ip.com/country/MY
If you have API, you can get the whole list.
https://smokeping.mywebping.com/smokeping/?target=Singapore-Networks.SG-55
My smokeping showed the high latency started from Feb 8 and until now no routing improvement at all. And i did feedback by support ticket about routing optimization from the day 1 i own the Serverpoint VPS,and Serverpoint staff never fix or optimize it.
Every time the staff only replies -Will feedback to senior team.
Edited:
From Malaysia ISP- Telekom Malaysia (ASN4788)
it's normal for indonesian ISP especially this top 5 AS https://radar.cloudflare.com/id
Erm? We are talking about Malaysia ISPs here. Also, high latency suggest that the upstream does not have local peering with those ISPs and it is really weird not to have peering with neighboring countries ISPs aka ASEAN.
Thanks for letting us know! I confused your case with another case posted here earlier...
Yes, that is indeed weird. The peering between networks in the SEA area is, honestly, quite a mess... if our provider's network was under our control, you bet we'd be working to peer with everyone. Talking to Telstra, PCCW, etc, in our experience, has been like talking to a wall. They both have terrible support.
We are currently in talks with NTT and another provider to bring them into our routing mix. But these things take time...
I see that AS peers with NTT according to http://bgp.he.net/AS4788, however, the question is: do they peer with them in Singapore... we will check.
AFAIK for AS4788 you may use PCCW Global for peering for both direction traffic to lower down the ping latency below 15ms
I think you can check via their looking glass? Base on their NTT looking glass, they don't have peering with PLDT in Philippines which is also a problem that Telstra is having. PLDT account for 40% of Philippines internet.
I think TATA has peering with Malaysia ISPs, PLDT in Philippines, HKT in Hong Kong and NTT in Japan which Telstra lacks. Also seem to have improved latency to India.
Serverpoint removed PCCW because it was having packets losses to everywhere.
>
PCCW is one of the best compare to NTT in APAC currently but not much ISP are using it because of pricing i guess. I am not sure serverpoint PCCW getting packet loss everywhere. But routing for europe PCCW is not that great in my opinion.

We actually are connected to PCCW, however, they are having some issues with some circuits. We've been waiting 14 days so far for them to correct the problem..
maybe you can consider adding up CDN77 transit into your network they have multi TIER-1 transit would help optimize routing network.
Can you take a look and see if the route from you to us has changed within the last 24 hours?
@serverpoint , I'm a bit confused about the VM details displayed on the dashboard for "LET-BAND1." The correct specifications should be:
4 x Intel Xeon E5 CPU Cores
4 GB of RAM
100 GB SSD storage
20,000 GB/month data transfer
Additional 20,000 GB/month data transfer
1 IPv4 IP address included
1 Gbps network port
DDoS protection included
However, it appears that an additional 40 TB/month is being displayed. Is this a display error?
Yes,i did see a huge improvement for latency.
I believe that plan includes 20TBs of data transfer per month and since this offer we published here on LET doubles your bandwidth, then you get another 20TBs.
