Had a friend ask me for some help in finding an inexpensive server in Dallas. Saw this thread and sent him a link. He signed up using the Dallas 24 hour promo code for a server and a week later, signed up with the SPOOKY code and picked up another server from you guys. He had me move his current server over to his new server at HXServers today - everything went great.
Just got a phone call from him about 15 minutes ago stating everything I had just set up for him was down. Well that's weird because I was just using everything fine to make sure it was good before I handed everything back over to him. Go check it out - nothing is working.
I asked him for his account creds, logged into his account, zero services listed...wtf? Checked on the service history - 2 services "cancelled"
I asked him if they had sent him a reason why they suspended him (made no sense - he runs a non-profit and a donation site) - he JUST sent me a text letting me know that they emailed him back and this was their response
"We've discontinued Dallas due to lack of customer interested, Thank you"
They wiped all ALL of his shit - absoluely ZERO warning. HXServers is fucking bogus and I wouldn't trust them for anything. It's one thing to say "Yeah, we're going to be shutting this location down, start migrating" but to up and delete EVERYTHING with absoluely zero warning? Absoluely, 100% unacceptable.

Originally that announcement did not include Dallas at all. However, by October 16th, we added Dallas to the announcement as our forecast of sales did not meet our expectations for a new launch location. I hope this clears it up for you. As per our Terms of Service, we may modify, or change any announcement at any time, without prior notice. Additionally, our Terms of Service clearly states where announcements can be read.
We are discontinuing our old platform (Virtualizor) in favor of VirtFusion. The old servers, using Virtualizor, will be decommissioned as orders rotate. All new orders will be placed on the new platforms. If you have an active VPS, we will not be canceling them, nor will you be forced to migrate. Those servers will continue in operation until not a single VPS client remains using them. @hxservers I have an active VPS in LA, I just checked and found it is no longer in "Active" section on my account but now in "Completed" section.
What does it mean? Will I be able to renew the service or are you going to retire it when the term ends in November?
That's awesome! How about a heads up via email or something given my client purchased a server 3 days prior to your October 16th announcement. Why not announce it in this thread??
So even when he did sign up (October 13th) , it would have been impossible for him to see that announcement (per your own statement) and you added something after the fact (even though the original post doesn't include an "UPDATE:" or anything to indicate that it was updated.
Whatever the case may be, I'm sure you future clients would love to hear you can just delete all their shit on a whim because you didn't meet your expectations for a new launch.

Guys, I ordered service from HXserver when they came to this forum as a newcomer. I have set up a simple WordPress website on their server. I pay monthly, no abuse and no overuse on their machines. but today I received an email from them saying they terminated my service for no reason. (just a simple WordPress website on their server and this website is just a draft with no content)
HXservers is a new company, they promoted their business when they came to this forum as a new game player, I just want to support their business, but they have zero honesty in business, and they take zero serious on their customers. Yet their server is also not as good as they said.
Although the money I spent on them is a very small amount, their attitude is a piece of junk. I will never trust them again and I share my bad experience with you guys, if you choose them, be careful.

We did not dispatch emails to our customers warning them of this change. We had intended to send a mass email campaign through our billing portal, yet - emails were not sent, nor were they checked before the system started its automatic cycle of refunds and terminations.
We sincerely apologize for the lack of communication.
Here's what we will do. For any customer who was affected by this, open a ticket. We will recreate a new VPS for you, with the first month being free.
