Ah Yes it is there, Thanks for that!
Nothing was delivered to anybody. Otherwise you would see yabs and other activity here.

@xoctopus you recently give me lot of hate about this -_- , you know what happened in background? Maybe you want help me for delivery this VPSs more fast?I'm still looking for employees
Give you more time, just keep going and don't forget this. Wait for 30 days, more than 30 days is stiil ok for me.
We are in 2023 and there's no way to automate the process?
Is there OS auto installation option in control panel to reinstall at anytime, or it must be done manually by you everytime?
While I really don't know what Calin is doing right now, if i had to guess, my vote would be that he's building those big RAID 6 arrays for you. And if it's software RAID, and seeing the CPU model, and considering the sheer size of that array, it could take a while... RAID6 rebuild usually CPU bound...
Now, he could create FS over still unfinished RAID array, and then let you all in, but it could also end badly with overloads of all sorts, kernel panics, dead disks, etc... At least I always try to avoid this scenario with my arrays, and always let rebuild finish before jumping on them. Much safer...
If I were a provider, and doing array build while you're all waiting, I'd provide you with cat /proc/mdstat output so you know exactly where you stand. But, I'm not a provider.
Actually I've messaged you on Discord and am willing to help but you did not reply (only answered "hello")
Must be done manually for all Storage VPS-es at iHostART
I'm quite sure new node does not need rebuilding.
The other cmt Calin said he checking HDDs one by one which is weird, as even without dedicated test hardware, he can still test on the node itself.
While my confidence in Calin is fleeting every moment, this is expected when I ordered. I'm betting on him learning and improving. As I make multiple backups, I don't need much when it comes to storage VPS.

We test all HDDs with HD Tune for and other software for check halted and other things for this

Calin
Not yet, and I'm fine with that. Not in much of a rush. I just hope it works well when it gets here!
The 9TB VPS ordered has been received. Storage is split into two parts, 15G of SSD storage for / (although I remember Cailin saying 20G earlier), and 9TB for /storage (8.7TB in fact). Had a quick run through YABS, but given that it's a centralized delivery period at the moment, there may be others running tests at the same time as well.
Hope it goes well in the future.

Hello @namein thanks for review ,it's 20 GB , but 1 GB take boot and 4-5 GB operating system
Regards
@Calin I shall be online for the next 50 minutes. If you deliver my 4.5TB VPS within next 30 minutes, I shall run YABS and post it here in the remaining 20 minutes.
Seems @Calin is offline. So, I am also going offline
@bh4tech we have long list of VPS for delivery
This is the 4.5TB VPS (apart from the GB)
Did it get any better?

I don't have any stressful tasks in the past two days, just deploying self-hosted network disks and backup uploads normally. So far so good. HDD can easily adjust the mount directory by modifying /etc/fstab file, so you can adjust the location according to your needs.
OK, after about 1.5 weeks of waiting I finally got my VPS (the 4.5 TB) one.
And of course I ran a quick benchmark, albeit with a big 'but': I didn't even try to benchmark connectivity and I restrained myself to one single run. Simple reason: It would be unfair, it seems to me, to benchmark the hell out of that VM, both to @Calin and to others users on the node.
So, the processor is indeed dedicated, and its performance frankly is even overkill for a storage server. But of course it's nice anyway to have a Xeon v4.
As for the disk I only did a single run looking at the SSD (I guess) for the OS. It's OK for the purpose. 4 threads/ 4k blocksize result is a tiny bit under 8 MB/s and IOPs are a hair over 2000/s.
As for the network so far I can only say that establishing an SSH connection is slow; not I'm falling asleep slow but certainly slower than most VPS I've worked with. MTR however shows that the route is OK, even kind of good and the delay between Frankfurt ("hand over") to iHostArt is about 30 ms which is OK and in fact better than some I've seen with RO providers.
All in all, so far not only I can't complain, but in fact what I've got for a fiver a month seems to be a really good deal.
Bonus points to the hoster for really supporting ISOs (without pain) and in fact even quickly.
Maybe I'll bench the big HDD tomorrow; single run only of course as right now everyone is uploading Gigabytes upon Gigabytes. Just to get a first rough idea of its performance.
I also got my 4.5 TB VPS. Here is the bench.monster score along with India speedtest. Did not run yabs because lately I have been testing my VPS using bench.monster only and so I want to compare with my other VPSes. Also, geekbench 6 requires 2GB RAM and won't run on this VPS which has 1.5GB.
I have been waiting since July 1st, still not delivered...
I am still waiting too
Needs root / sudo privileges to run
Started to experience this now, it took ~20 seconds to authenticate into SSH compared to instantly when I got it a few days back. Updating/upgrading packages is also painfully slow at the moment.

Hello , problem fixed today , it's cache configuration problem , we need change some settings and reboot node
I'm leave here replay when problem fixed
Regards,
Calin
@Calin
I find that a bit shocking. Maybe hire an additional employee?
Delivered!!!
Here is YABS for 4.5TB plan. I paid more money to upgrade the CPU and memory.
