How do I check memory specifically for my box? Maybe @PulsedMedia can confirm which number is correct
Congrats on BIG #12 Thank you so much for running a special like this for the community!
Actually good question, i've tried to check on my current box with them but couldnt find any info where this limit is applied - no ulimit set, no cgroups and user/info.php is only showing global memory
My best bet would be the 12gb are correct as 1,2gb seems pretty low and are a good fit for the 1€/month special - otherwise the 100x V10G L offer would outperform very limited Astro for memory & traffic.
Does any possibility restocking Astro's MEGA? @PulsedMedia
Interesting. I could first reproduce this for couple page views, and then not. Got to a cart page with http only. Now i cannot get http even frontpage with firefox, opera or chromium.
http requests are allowed, and auto redirect is configured for client side. It's perfectly normal for the public pages to be without ssl if user wants to, what matters is that portal is always on https, and that has been configured. Yet you said even login does not redirect to https? whmcs is setup to autoredirect to https tho.
I am wondering if it's a browser thing, sometimes browser ignoring or vice-versa?
Ok got to reproduce this and it's all nilly willy when you get https redirect and not on typical non-logged in pages. Odd. Need to check httpd settings too that certain paths are enforced SSL.
Someone else said about this too, but no reproduction, no evidence, and it turned out to be something with their mobile? Considering the tens of thousands of users and this is second within 24hrs and we've not changed anything how our site works ....
Please provide information. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.
whilst it shows 12GB mem on whmcs
Fixed the whmcs text.
1212MB is correct.
cat .rtorrent.rc there you can see it
Zero. 24 of each, and that's it. Only if there is "reservations"
and yes there was couple of "reservations" probs all gone by now again
What can I say. Me and the plan named after me are popular around here.
SSD 200G sold out within 1 min 👀
I missed it again
got one of the free ssd box and another Anniversary V10G S , i am very statisfied with the overall performance , but the storage-bandwidth ratio of special plans is a little bit stingy for my use ,so i want to upgrade to a normal mushu plan . is it possible to exchange my current special plans for some recurring discounts on your normal dragon-r series seedboxes ?
Dragon-R doesn't really get special pricing. But we can refund to credit the V10G S and you can use that as part of the payment for Mushu.
M10G tho is better bang per buck since it's RAID5 not RAID10, and mostly Ryzen and not EPyC. Dragon-R is an excercise of "when money is no objection"
thanks for the answer , just really interested in that shiny 20g connection
Also , could you help me understand more about the "ram" allocation ? is the ram couted the same as in vps/dedicated servers ? you listed the ram explicitly on some plans' webpages , but kinda "fogot" on others'.
1. if i install sonarr/radarr/emby on my box , will that count as ram usage ?
2. how do i check exact ram usage?
3. how much ram does mushu has
Actually it does not mean much right now, but will eventually. When it starts meaning more all your apps count towards to the limit.
Mushu i think was 2 or 4GB.
Once we get close to enabling actual limits on everything, not just rtorrent, we will update all the pages and put it visible somewhere on the service
Going on a fresh browser to
https://pulsedmedia.com/clients/index.php
always redirects to regular http whereashttps://https://pulsedmedia.com/clients/cart.php
works in https. Its not only on a fresh.. Even if you press Home button it goes to http instead https.. Probably something in index.php not forcing ssl
Indeed it does so. That's not very good from WHMCS.
We are overdue for full WHMCS upgrade & overhaul and will go through these at that point. It's a gigantic project always because every WHMCS update overwrites all the changes, including logos etc. and we always miss something when doing that.
Looks like people would want us to have discord as well. Would need community moderators for that tho, our small team just do not have time to hang out there always 🤔
That would be pretty sick. You can pick community mods from here
@PulsedMedia what magic have you done with the network? After the Twelve fiasco whatever you've done - it literally saturates my connection.
Twelve99 hls-b1 is currently disabled, and we added GlobalConnect to the mix. Tho only very few target AS goes through globalconnect yet.
That and the magic of even @ peak usage we don't exceed 70% of link capacity currently
Finally got my self the M10G 1TB after refreshing the site a few times every now and then over the last few days.
I’m too lazy to read all the comments, but are these servers any decent for Emby? How is the transcoding? I find the deal and the location so good I might try it over Plex.
If your are thinking about unsing Plex, read this comment by @PulsedMedia https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/3377739/#Comment_3377739
Transcoding depends on the usage on that server, your source material, your target encoding etc etc. Way way too many variables. Just try it and see how it goes
Emby itself, i have tested this myself years ago, atleast without transcoding 4k 10bit HDR worked flawlessly
I finished setting up my seedbox today. Been pretty happy with performance thus far.
Wish PulsedMedia has better documentation on getting qbtorrent, radarr & sonarr setup. Was able to find a good reddit post which had details.
How'd you get that speed to so high? I did speed test on 20gbps server and got this.
It’s all in the wrists!
Yay! Just got my hands on that 1TB raffle seedbox
