Ticket their long-term no one process, which is why?
They use VMWare, not OpenVZ. It's your own kernel. So it's up to you to allow them or not.
In the Ticket I raised yesterda...they EXEMPTED my account from VAT today observing the Supporting proof of company est. outside EU.
Is it only me or do you observer the same... You don't receive email notification when your ticket is replied... a bit weird IMO
Did you find any option for paying 12/24 months in advance?
I dont think they have such feature, you still get billed monthly.
But you could put enought moneys in for 12 months.
As you get automatic billed when you create th VM and there is no option.
I can imagine they will increase the prices
cheap useless ebay sale type hardware.. not the best for "cloud"
It EOL hardware from their other brands - Thats also why it is so cheap. It's a DDR3 system so not old enough to trash yet at all.
@Maounique if we recharge
for 1,5 will this extend the 10 for more time?
No, someone said they received answer saying you need to load at least 10.
Is it possible to install Windows on the small package via ISO?
I haven't tried, but you can create a free ftp space to upload your isos and then create a virtual disk to boot. There are windows images too.
Something I can't find is a way to reload a new os
I saw windows as image templates when I created my VPS... in the OS Selection part.
Yes it works like you maintain a pre-paid wallet with them, put some money in it and they deduct the charges from your wallet instead of raising an invoice monthly.
Yes I confirmed this on a Ticket with them... They said if I recharge a top-up of atleaast €10 they will let me keep my €10 voucher credit as well.
I recharged €11/- from my card and it shows €21as total credit
I signed up. My Control Panel was created after 24 Hours. I used the Voucher at the time of sign up & didn't recharge any credit & still the Fund is there (Euro 10). I've created a 1 Euro Cloud at England. Not so impressive result, I think there's Problem with the SSD, otherwise everything is good for Euro 1.
Anyone knows that if My credit will be vanished after 10 Days ?? Or, Can I prepay for 10 Months with the Credit ?? :P
Benchmark: http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench3/3248177
HDD:
looking at those results they must be using a ramcache (like fancycache) or something certainly not ssd.
They have steps to get it removed:

Some use of VPS Servers are NOT allowed as:
VmWare?which control panel?vSphere Web Client?vCloud Director?
Their own.
is there a Console option anywhere? can you use an HTML5 KVM console to your VPS ?? I presume Vmware provides this feature.
VMWare has no such feature - Only within vSphere which you don't get access to.
A VM can be configured with vnc access which works with e.g. noVNC, but it has to be manually configured in the vmx file as far as i know.
So, Tor/freenet allowed. I havent decided for an usage yet, 2 TB look like not much, but it could be a good freenet node in the end. 20 months for 10 Eur seems fair.
And vCloud
FYI they also maintain a blog about their business (in French only it seems).
