thanks
alright thanks for this info
changed to paypal to be safe
Do all SSD version come with 160 GB ? Anyone got 120 or 128 GB ?
i got 160GB intel. but speed slower than my XC 2016
If you want max. speed then you need to get one with 128 GB PM871 Samsung drive or 240 GB Kingston(?) drive. I got 128 GB Samsung in sd89000 in the past. The higher the number the bigger chance of getting a faster one.
what datacenter?
All in DC2. There were no SSD in DC3 only HDD.
I'm setting it up right now, sd-81xxx in DC3
edit obv sata, i'll bench the ssd i got in dc2 too.

Disk model ?
The intel DC ssds will last longer according to lore.
30K IOPS is plenty to keep the 8 avoton cores saturated, I think.
I got different peformance betwen XC SSD 2016 vs Dedibox Limited 43816
Same CPU but fps on ffmpeg very low on limited edition.
Interesting . my limited's CPU quickbench for this snippet:
Bursts to 2.4ghz for the tests. verified thrice,
Same on my Dedibox Limited 43816
Dedibox Limited 33816 is back in stock in DC3 - only 25 available
Is DC3 better than DC2?
Nope, for me DC2 was always better.
I'm loving that this has kvm over ip (unlike the SC 2016 I just got rid of), I might try an OpenSUSE Leap install for this .
DC2 overload for me
My Dedibox is located at DC2 and I´m pretty fine with it...
Mounting own ISO and booting it is a superb function
ordered 43816 and got a 2+ year old 240 GB
SATA Version is: SATA 3.0, 6.0 Gb/s (current: 6.0 Gb/s)
Disk Speed
I/O (1st run) : 294 MB/s
I/O (2nd run) : 296 MB/s

WOW So they exist - finally SATA3. Which drive model ? Can you test hdparm -t /dev/sda ?
Dedibox Limited 33816 gone again in DC3.
hdparm -t /dev/sda
/dev/sda:
Timing buffered disk reads: 852 MB in 3.00 seconds = 283.80 MB/sec
Anyone know if online.net has a LG? My scaleway seems to block all outgoing traceroutes
look like i'm not lucky as you. just ordered today, and got intel 160GB SSD.
