    1. digitalocean - support was quick to jump on one issue in a few minutes that I monitored on piwik, haha. they were quite helpful too with about 5 tickets I needed in less than 6 months as a complete noob.
    2. online.net - they were helpful as well with my shirt ticket and a few other panic questions about my loss-leader kidechire

New - lowendspirit.com is new to me, so I will order more servers from them soon. The instructions were clear on wtf you need to do on the server and you can use tun/tap on your server too.

    • Vultr, for having the best network in almost every one of my tests.
    • Vscale, for bringing hourly servers with modern hardware to an underserved region. Discovered on vpsBoard.
    • MikroVPS, for offering decent servers in another underserver country and being a small sympathetic provider.

    1. EthernetServers - awesome support (best I've ever seen actually), fast I/O and network speeds.
    2. BuyVM - fast servers, great DDoS protection and is quite affordable (imo).
    3. OVH - "decent" (emphasis on the word "decent") support, but the 2016 VPS line is pretty fast (in terms of speed).

Best new provider: GoMach5 - isn't cheap, but is pretty good (DDoS protection wise).

  • In the order they've come to me:

Inception Hosting - Pretty much my go-to provider when I need something. In addition to the LowEndSpirit plans, @AnthonySmith's Xen plans are an unbeatable combo of fantastic performance and incredible value.

Fiberoute - A real London location, insanely fast network, high performance KVM plans? What's not to like. The work of one of the true gents of LE*, @Infinity

Luna Node - I still find this vaguely insane. A massive selection of features, genuine hourly billing, great performance, all at a low-end price. Other hosts should be taking note, this is the future.

Can't think of any newbies to vote for unfortunately.

This will probably not count since it's basically shell access & I haven't used them in a long time but they were extremely good back then:

    • Whatbox

(I leave it to mods discretion if it should be counted or not).

  • Dacentec - Best support I've ever seen. Period.

Delimiter - Mainly for @MarkTurner's involvement. I also love the different innovations in the works.

BoltVM - Great performance for the cost. Currently has the highest uptime of all my boxes.

Best new provider: SpeedyKVM (if they are a new provider) - the whole setup is neat and sharp.

Honorable mentions - VPSDime (missing them here), RamNode (a premium LEB provider), MyCustomHosting (unfortunately moved too far away from Canada)
