That's a fuckin awesome deal with RAID 1 too. Shame I have no need for a dedi
Let's resist. Or at least try to.
Awesome offer. Props to @dacentec!
This is why I shouldn't have credit left over in an account there.
damn it ,it's finished when it will be going to available back
All of our servers are moving to a new bandwidth pricing model. We haven't advertised a lot but Dacentec servers can go to unmetered gigabit or 100TB now. Check out options during checkout.
Ordered one.... couldn't resist. Got the opetron with 6x1TB drives. Absolute bargain! :-)
GG
@dacentec is this price model valid for existing customers, also? I boudht my server just 5 days ago :-(
There are a lot of old products we haven't update yet, if the upgrade/downgrade in your portal doesn't work for you or seem right, contact sales@dacentec.
So do i, it's a good offer, but $20 is still a waste for me and for the stock if it won't be used and just for testing the provider, better for people who need it.

100 Mbps unmetered, but actually are 1Gbps unmetered? Correct?
@Issam2204
Does CacheFly answer your question?
I'd say yes, thank you!
One question: I'd like to use the server for personal video streaming purposes (SAMBA behind OpenVPN). Do you think I'll have issues considering I live in Europe (Belgium)?
With Samba? I would say so. Why not Plex?
I only see the server with 25$ price maybe out of stock.
@anh_vu $20 option is very limited .. if luck favors you can get on next promo
I got 1356 - 8GB 2X2TB this time
Because SAMBA doesn't require much CPU and works basically everywhere
and packet loss? Plex is working for me almost everywhere, too :P
As far as I know, no packet loss
I had a samba feed running from Dacentec inside a VPN and it streamed 1080p to the UK.
F*** plex, after the hack no way am I signing up to run something off my box.
I keep missing the $20 server
Try Emby, whilst you can signup to Emby Connect it's not required you can actually setup accounts to be authenticated directly on the server itself.
Like us on facebook, we normally post stock there before we do ads anywhere.
What hack?
