I told myself I don't need more VPSes, but I was tempted by the chonky 8 core, 48GB (32GB * 1.5), 350GB NVMe offer, so I grabbed one of those. If I consolidate 3 or 4 other VPSes onto it, it'll actually end up cheaper than what I was paying in total for those.

  • @Daniel15 said: chonky 8 core, 48GB (32GB * 1.5), 350GB NVMe offer

Storage should also be 1.5x times as the offer reads.

Will provide an answer to all the posts shortly, just want to let you guys know that these deals will be over in ~9 hours from now. 00:00 EST 28th November.

As this was not mentioned in the OP: we are providing free BGP sessions in Sydney and London on these deals.

is that an free BGP sessions upgrade for current current customer and new bf deal sign up?

    That’s always how it starts

Oh, I missed that! Wow. 525GB NVMe! and 40TB monthly bandwidth.

I had a cheap dedi ($199/year) but got rid of it this month. I couldn't transfer it to someone else as the provider was decommissioning the server once I didn't need it any more. It had an old E3 processor, 16GB DDR3, and two Samsung Evo 840 1TB SSDs in RAID1 and both were close to 100,000 power-on hours.

Big VPS is more useful IMO. Much newer and faster CPU, more RAM that's faster, much faster storage. The HostHatch offer includes 3 "dedicated" cores too (not actually dedicated, but you can constantly use 300% CPU without any issues). Dedicated server is probably better if you want to do something very CPU intensive, but I don't really run anything like that.

Last minute question, does anyone have the yabs for any storage kvm in US / SG location.

Here's a YABS from my storage VPS in Los Angeles (10TB storage from a sale in early 2021). I think newer ones might use newer CPUs, but I'm unsure.

No. They never allowed this. However, They can give you custom config if you ask via pm/ticket.

  • will the support ticket option urgent and medium make any different for ordering issue? @hosthatch

Depending on what your issue is but usually ticking the urgend box for non-uptime-critical stuff (like orders) will make it worse and further delay.

  • @hosthatch any update on when the storage servers will be deployed. yes, i know, 10 days are mentioned in the op, but i can't wait to get the servers :hushed:

  • Did anyone get a Chicago BF VPS activated directly? just checking.

    got a 99 a year :)

  • HostHatch support says that my server will be running on 15th Dec. I expect early Dec but never think it will be mid Dec. It's too late.
Now I'm stuck because their no refund policy. So no server to use, money wasted on pending server, money lost because my server just expired on HostHatch.
I have to choose either to wait for my server setup or buy vps from another provider.
    It's so bad.
It's all my fault, not Hosthatch. I read all the reviews about it and still buy it.

Which package and location did you buy? Did they explain why it is delayed more than 10 days?

Have you asked them about the refund due to moved timeline on theirs part?

Damn, received 758 Mb RAM vps with 2 GB BW instead of Black Friday 2023 - Storage 2 TB with double RAM (4GB) lol :-) IS this only I'm so unlucky? How this is ever possible? I’m sitting looking at it and don’t know what to do. Starting setup the server look like a bad idea. Hope that this will be fixed soon and somebody will check my ticket...

Same here, instead doubled it was reduced =)

    Hi! Solved? My still not

Not yet, ticket still pending. I didn't do anything with the VPS waiting for the upgrade, so I guess that billing will start when they setup the right one.

    THIS is the way.

NOT implying anything, giving the client all of their privacy that they deserve, no matter what they claim or say.

Just asking for the client to, themselves, share more information.

Providers should take this as inspiration.

Too much sharing of client details on here I think, even when I can see why you don't want a bad rep as a provider when a client isn't speaking the full truth, that's not up to the provider to prove.

Nothing as predictable as a HostHatch "soon"

@hosthatch has snapshot been implemented for NY location?
For some reason It keeps having a loading bar and no snapshot generated after 24 hours.

It's not a requirement (never heard, neither does their dashboard say that), it's a suggestion for consistency.
