It is unlikely windows would work, unless 2003 or so. It could be made to work, I suppose, but what would be the point?

Where? When I read that I removed a VM and tried to recreate with IPv6 but all the locations say "soon".

  • I am positively surprised by the service.
At first I was skeptical, because the offer of paying by the hour sounded almost too good.

I am a computer science student and cheap Linux development servers for testing are therefore enormously interesting, especially those that don't have to be rented for a whole month or year right away. It's nice to be able to book the number of servers and the currently needed resources spontaneously without having to pay the prices of the well-known (and expensive) providers.

I've already experimented a bit with the servers, and the performance seems really okay for the price.

The only problem I have is that installing the SSH key when creating the server doesn't work. The key is not accepted and no password is emailed because the ssh key installation was selected. So the password installation must be selected and then the SSH key must be installed manually until the problem is fixed.

    Currently, servers are available at:
    Silicon Valley, CA
    Dallas, TX
    Moscow, RU

    We are preparing new PoPs:
NL, FR, SG, IN, HK, ZA

We are asking our customers now which PoP is the most required.
So if you prefer anyone, please message here, we will prioritize our datacenters backlog.

  • My fair evaluation, the price of this hotel is very good, and the service is also worthy of the price. If you can guarantee that the price will not increase, it will be excellent...

Me too. There were some quirks, understandable for starting.
I am now waiting IPv6 (which is supposedly available, albeit I was unable to make it work anywhere) and everything would be fine :)

Yes, it is a prepaid cloud service. You can't create VM if you have no credit.

So, is IPv6 available anywhere or not? You have made an announcement it is, I can't enable in any location. I am waiting to deploy with IPv6 so I dont have to redo all setups.
If you don't plan it, then please say so.

To answer my own question: Protonmail never received the email, but Gmail worked. The Dashboard has it's problems once in a while, but I'm impressed with the performance-for-money I get.

    1. This is burst VPS, we guarantee 1/4 of CPU

I've put this to the test, and after a few days, CPU steal is now 95%. It took a long time, and the price is still awesome, but that's 1/20 of a CPU now. It's still the most lenient "burst" I've encountered.
All this was just an experiment to test the server (and post my findings on Bitcointalk).
