Dallas and Amsterdam will be available very soon. Hong Kong, Bangalore seems will need more time.

We spent a lot of time for rework vanilla OpenStack code. Now we are really ready to add new locations, SFO and DFW servers are already racked ;).

Excellent…waiting for US location. I have a account with credit since 2020

Maybe as BF Offer - offer load 5$ get 10% more or 5.5$ something like that as a way for fresh start 😊

  • Interesting offers, I will for sure give it a try when I need hourly or small vps

Interesting that nested virtualization is enabled.

Hmm. Why is the receive internet speed so low compared to send speed?

  • I signed up, load $10 and setup a VPS in Moscow but other locations are not available. When will you restock?

  • An additional fee will be applied by Stripe: 5% + $0.3

The stripe fee is too high. I will think later about buying your service.

Yeah, that's something like $0,9 on the top of the $11,88 yearly payment. Unbearable! 🤭

I had been using HostVDS for almost two years on and off. I took my ArubaCloud $1 instance and moved it to HostVDS. The value was great!

But the downtime was atrocious. There were times it was unavailable for a week at a time. Often, I just turned off my monitors for the service because it was that long and sustained. I've probably burned through $30-$40 over that time, of which maybe half of that was spent while this downtime consumed the other half. I'd often restart a server and get stuck in an OpenStack error. During the longest downtime, I always inquired about ETAs and credit since it was not a downtime incurred by me. I was always assured I would get credit.

Alas, I was never granted credit for any downtime incurred, resulting in monetary loss for services I could not use. There was an existing thread regarding HostVDS, and I know many people here shared my sentiment.

Regarding the US and other locations, this has been dangled over the user's head for years now. At this point, the coming soon is just a joke for most of us that have used it.

@HostVDS_com Hopefully, you've seen the complaints and issues that the users who supported you in the early days were treated. We were often second-class customers as if we were "beta testing" your service for free. I'd have to see some significant changes before loading a single dollar more onto an account to be eaten up- and at this point, I'm in a negative deficit because when I last tried to delete a server I had, I couldn't!

Yes, our service is improved and reworked, as I said we rework vanilla OpenStack for public cloud needs...

Also, we have new support staff, so if you have any questions you can email us.
It is dedicated support team now.

Moreover, we can add funds as our old beta-testing customer :). Just PM me please your account.

Hmm. Why is the receive internet speed so low compared to send speed?

Some technical issue with shaping mechanism in our SDN-controller (OVN).
Will work the same as inbound soon...

For this price level, it is more than fantastic

We use it for our own needs, and it works great.
    For testing, staging, developing...
