It's $96 early bird. $120 non-early bird. Depends on which code you end up using.

recurring 96$ if you buy with code with 20% discount.
recurring 120$ if you buy with the code without discount (why would you).
recurring 280$ if you don't use any code.

It's clearly labeled in the panel and screenshot :(

    For reference (Early Bird):

    • 250GB: $6.67/TB/m
    • 500GB: $3.33/TB/m
    • 1TB: $2.67/TB/m
    • 2TB: $2/TB/m
    • 4TB: $2/TB/m

Anything below $3/TB/m is great price for HDD, and $2/TB/m is insane

    Same problem here.
Would buy 1TB for $64.00 USD biennially, but I am poor at the moment also I and still have like 9 months of free AlphaVPS server from promo :( which makes spending 64$ now even more stupid.

That actually is pretty insane, especially considering it's RAID10. I wonder if I did the math correctly. Oh well, we have too much space anyway.

Well that comes up to be $32/yr, matches with FAT32. Coincidence? I think not.

The record on LET so far is $0.9/TB/m by HostHatch on RAID-6, can you beat that?

    LAX storage:
    2 CPU cores
    10 TB storage
    2 GB RAM
    10 TB bandwidth

Maybe we'll do some YOLO lose my data plan with no RAID for $0.69/TB/mo but I really don't like the idea of RAID-6. It puts my write speed disk wait overloading anxiety through the roof.

Please expire it so let me not to consider ordering again and again.

Honestly I am fine with it, with no RAID I will only store backup of backup, with the help of checksum it should be good enough

I am building my 3-2-1 backup plan and having multiple remote is a good idea too

I believe hosthatch was doing RAID 50 and RAID 60. At $2/TB for RAID 10, it's close enough to hosthatch's best deal, and arguably better than the smaller plans hosthatch had.

It's so good, I am contemplating buying some despite already having idling storage.

I think you are right, it should be RAID-60

Fair point, but if I am storing backup of backup I don't really need RAID 10

I might just do this for all locations to keep it simple, a combination of both packages:

    8GB RAM
    120GB NVMe
    3 vCore Ryzen CPU
    8TB @ 1Gbps Bandwidth
    1x IPv4 Address

    $88/YR
    $150.40/2YR

But have it be like $110 / $188 before a 20% early bird discount that expires tomorrow. Or is the 4th core and 150GB important to everyone here?

It's not worth it for the broad market.

Even with disclaimers, if anything goes wrong it'll be national-shit-on-Virmach-day.

  • I hope that the JP area can also guarantee 500G storage :s

We should have that as a holiday even if we don't do the terrible data loss plans. @corbpie can be the event organizer and it'll just be every day.
