    Yeah!

    Looks great doesn't it?

I wanted to keep the theme by having some handwritten font and yellow/gold

    Cheap VPS
    1 CPU
    5 GB SSD Storage
    0.5 GB RAM
    500 GB Monthly Transfer
    500Mbps Network Port
    1 Dedicated IPv4 + /64 IPv6 Address
    OVZ7 / Virtualizor Control Panel
Automatic weekly backups to an offsite location
    ONLY $4.95/YEAR!
    ORDER NOW: https://my2.boomer.host/cart/vps-hosting/

    Cheapest IPv4 since ColonCrossing?
    I had a $3.99/year VirMach with 384MB RAM.
This one is only $1 more and has a little more RAM (but less disk).

Question is, is it RAM or SWAP?

Another question is, would there be another Virtualizor migration that causes me to permanently lose access to the VPS?

    It's RAM.

I didn't migrate virtualizor, or loose the password in fact you should be able to request a password reset https://vps.boomer.host:4083/#act=login&sa=fpass

FAT32 made the account for you so he should also be able to set your password

    It's RAM.

    I hope so!
    That 4GB looks delicious.
It's same price as 2GB at other providers.

I didn't migrate virtualizor, or loose the password in fact you should be able to request a password reset https://vps.boomer.host:4083/#act=login&sa=fpass

    Tried again.
Password reset email is working now, but whatever password I enter in the reset form, the login form still says wrong password.
I'm sure I've entered the same password on both forms, because it's either filled automatically by Chrome browser or pasted from clipboard.

Hmm I wonder if it's because I selected routed subnet. Isn't the whole 64 already routed and usable?

  • Is there a test file

  • MaouniqueMaounique Host Rep, Veteran

Debian 11 (and even 10) has some issues on OVZ 7. I believe they dont like the kernel too much. I get weird errors and warnings.

  • nice to see you again, i see your network changed to hostbill

  • Are this prices recurring?

  • Wireguard works just fine for Netflix, Prime etc. For 5 bucks an year, it's the best one out there because you'll also get a dedicated IPv4.

Did you used special characters for the password?
Virtualizor said wrong password when I used a password that generated by pwgen -sy 64 in my experience.

Why do all systems fail to install bbr accelerated kernel?

    thats for KVM

  • It's a pity that I can't use bbr to accelerate, the network speed is not ideal

can you add more payment system other than stripe and cc?

No. I use stripe so that I can avoid fraud by forcing 3d Secure as well as having chargeback protection
    https://stripe.com/radar/chargeback-protection

That's the only reason. If I would accept crypto for example then people would use the service for abuse such as child porn as they did last time I accepted crypto.

But I mean it should be easy to pay via CC. You got google pay and Apple Pay support. I know that Apple Pay is a great and easy way to pay with

Password reset email is working now, but whatever password I enter in the reset form, the login form still says wrong password.
I'm sure I've entered the same password on both forms, because it's either filled automatically by Chrome browser or pasted from clipboard.

Did you used special characters for the password?
Virtualizor said wrong password when I used a password that generated by pwgen -sy 64 in my experience.

    I generate passwords with https://www.correcthorsebatterystaple.net/ .
Previously I used a password in the form of Interfere-Discomfort-8.
    Now I also tried InterfereDiscomfort8.
Neither works on this Virtualizor as account password.

I know Virtualizor rejects VNC passwords with hyphens, but the account password can have hyphens at least at other providers.

Yeah. I tried to make it as trustworthy as I can accepting CC. We don't store any details, it's all processed via Stripe checkout. It also won't bill you again automatically because it's setup for one time payments.😜

Hmm. Do you really think KVM is an upgrade? If so why?

256MB KVM doesn't make much sense at all since the kernel will eat a big chunk of ram.

I never understood why people prefer KVMs. With OpenVZ you get a cheaper VPS with the ability to run pretty much all applications such as wireguard with kernel support, dockers etc.

Resource wise you also get to use more ram and disk space since the kernel is sponsored by the provider

Big difference with KVM is ability to run Windows VMs.
I prefer to run LXC rather than KVM but in my case/business that's not an option.
KVM is just more supported and gives you more options for the guest system.
