When my VPS is provisioned, will I be notified by email? Just forgot how it was last season![;) ;)](https://lowendtalk.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
Yes. I just received one of my servers, and got an e-mail.
E-mail also said:
"Your billing date will also start from 1st January 2022 instead of today. Please do note that you can still fully use your server right away and there will be no reinstalls required to enable the above features."
Thanks @hosthatch
Stockholm location:
Good to see HostHatch is enabling nested virtualization on the new nodes.
Will be helpful to run LXD VM's.
Here's a bench-monster as well, from the same location:
Are this vps vmware based, since it updated the vmware tools?
What are the pro and cons of vmware versus kvm alternatives?
Cannot wait for mine to be available!
that ram speed...... Zen 3 looking neat
It's already December 19, when will my Stockholm VPS be available for pre-order?
What do you mean by pre order? I ordered 3 vps on stockholm, which one was provided. So it takes time
LXC/LXD doesn't need nested virt, since it's containerisation rather than virtualisation.
I'm talking about LXD VM's not containers. LXD 4.0 and up supports VM's. Uses qemu under the hood.
Oh wow, I didn't know about that. Thanks for the link! What's the advantage over KVM though?
Transfer?
Easier to manage. There's no need to fiddle with the KVM command line so set up networking, limit cpu & memory etc. Basically nearly all the features of containers are available for VM's with the same cli as for containers.
Multiple LXD VM images are already available and can be setup without a hitch.

Just got one Beast From Sweden, thank you @hosthatch
Great ping from my location!
Which deal did you get? Is it from this year?
No, it's BF2020 deal that was upgraded to AMD EPYC
Oh, I have one there too but it looks like I'm still on the E5.
Bummer.
Any official statement on the delivery?
At-least they should let us know exactly how long "around 15" is?
soon
...
at some point in the future
...
be patient
even then I want to hear it from them directly, not from fanboys![ ](https://lowendtalk.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
An official statement would be nice, indeed @wa44io4.
I thought they did update that they've started provisioning, but slowly.
It would be nice to know. Probably you will reply from angry stock holders lol.
Sorry, I didn't express myself clearly
@hosthatch
If you don't deal with my problems, I won't renew it.
Please refund me the money you spent yesterday,TKS. #706857
I have used your service more than 6 years ,but now I am very disappointed.
if you continue to build sentences like this, I'm afraid you'll never see the money that hosthatch spends
how to refund if HH already spent it?
he probably put in some credits for the future but then an automatic invoice for something else popped up. which happens 2 weeks before renewal. and with that it automatically spends your credits on a service which you might not wanted to renew.
however, just a wild guess on why 'they' spent something ;-) on top, after 6 year one would expect people know how this works ;-)
TL;DR; learn to cancel services upfront if you don't plan or even are unsure about renewing. then there will be no invoice unless you proactively cancel the cancellation.
Can you all share the details/specs of HH VPS you have problems with, some of us may be interested in transfer![;) ;)](https://lowendtalk.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
