Any official statement on the delivery?

At-least they should let us know exactly how long "around 15" is?

There's no possibility to cancel invoices by users. You need to create a ticket and wait. The last month, the waiting time for a response to a ticket is not as usuall. I've been waiting for the cancellation for about 5-7 days and it's still not cancelled even though my VPS was destroyed long ago.

If you don't deal with my problems, I won't renew it.
Please refund me the money you spent yesterday,TKS. #706857
I have used your service more than 6 years ,but now I am very disappointed.

how to refund if HH already spent it?

There are still some balances in my account, but my server is faulty.
I have submitted tickets for more than a month and failed to process them.
So i don't intend to renew the fee until the problem is solved, but the system automatically deducts my balance.

if you continue to build sentences like this, I'm afraid you'll never see the money that hosthatch spends

he probably put in some credits for the future but then an automatic invoice for something else popped up. which happens 2 weeks before renewal. and with that it automatically spends your credits on a service which you might not wanted to renew.

however, just a wild guess on why 'they' spent something ;-) on top, after 6 year one would expect people know how this works ;-)

TL;DR; learn to cancel services upfront if you don't plan or even are unsure about renewing. then there will be no invoice unless you proactively cancel the cancellation.

    You are right

  • @hosthatch I wang to buy one VPS.TK #404540

Can you all share the details/specs of HH VPS you have problems with, some of us may be interested in transfer ;)

You could cancel the server and revoke before expire date, don't blame billing system, it just follows the rules but you have brain insted

yes. that's why you better cancel the service itself early enough and not wait for the invoice to pop up. problem solved avoided.

My original plan was to continue to use it after the problem solved.
But I didn't think they hadn't solved my problem for so long.

give them some time. if you do not need the credits back immediately. I am pretty sure they will solve it. from the last years BF and xmas sales it took till early january for them, to get everything sorted and calmed down.

I think @Emil and Abdullah are working through it, but it'll take time. ranting/posting here will more likely not get you higher up in queue though.

focus on christmas and your family instead, should have much more value and help your state of mind ;-)

It's million dollars season, give them a bit more time if you can!

My ticket is not answered, try asking Emil here as it was much faster for me to make decision!

Unless it's urgent, like your server is about to expire and you ask them to extend a few more weeks until new server is ready, i think it will take a bit more time for them to answer it! :)

Yes, my server is about to expire, which means whether I need to buy other VPS and migrate data immediately.

  • @Mrali said: Yes, my server is about to expire

actually... it's not anymore. because it is extended by another month. your invoice got paid, you know ;-) now you have enough time for an educated decision and also waiting for their response. good, isn't that?

yeah they can only help extend 1 month as the minimum offer for 10$ not 1 week so i renewed the server for 60$/y :) as they apparently need more time to do things properly!

  • Here is a yabs for NL Location, BF 2021. Just deployed a few minutes ago.
I feel bad for pre-ordering only the smallest of them

I can post a YABS from last year's 10TB storage VPS in Los Angeles if that helps? Some locations have much faster disks than other locations though.

So PMS is the only way to ensure timely delivery/activation of service?

Last year @hosthatch went way past scheduled date for my BF - HK VPS to activate. Finally had to raise ticket/get refunded/ credit in my account..

(If I recall, it was something I did or did not do, that caused the slip. No repeat from my end this time around).

This year similar pattern for Storage server (Stockholm) . Patience is a virtue, but annual testing of the virtue ??
Lets see if history repeats itself.

p.s : no intention of PMS. PP dispute- Did that only once with a host - with the Doc types
