my payment is still pending, I paid few hours ago :/
edit: never mind it's service status is pending, not the payment

  • Looks like I was too quick off the mark with my test order. :'(
That Dallas one is significantly better value.

  • @VirMach said: It's psychological. If people saw the previous sale be cheaper for more they get a little stubborn

That is me! I mean I don't need any server, but something dirty cheap I will buy for idle!
$13 is not dirty cheap, next please :D

@RecD said: Comparing to 7$ offer, it's not charming.

Still cheaper, but yeah, not that much cheap if you already bought one so I guess no reason to pull a trigger.

  • We still have two manually created deals, right? :D

  • I figgly finagled a fuckin' $4.95 per year vps I don't even need #swag

he said 5, we're now on 3rd deal. so, yeah, 2 more to go. :)

At least one, but I think 2? I'm still hoping for a big one.

  • If VirMach's past sales are anything to go by, the last one would be the big one.

    Suggestion for the 524 deal

    $5.24 /yr
    5GB RAM
    2vCore
    4TB Traffic @ 10gbps
    52GB SSD
    4 IP's

Throw in Windows just for the hell of it.

Now that will be a good rival for the $2 deal and an excellent server stress test

Fixed the other overloading bug. Something on our end, nothing that I remember coding ourselves, was essentially trying to go through all orders ever made, ever. Ever. Each time we answered a ticket.

Of course it'll be located in Buffalo, the land of unlimited servers.

Okay I can confirm this is not on our end either. I loaded in the defaults and it's part of WHMCS "improvements" to let you see some extra details or something on orders we never even use.

    <button id="btnSelectRelatedService" type="button" class="btn btn-default btn-xs{if !count($relatedservice)} disabled" disabled="disabled{/if}" data-expandable="{$relatedservicesexpand}">

This was causing server load to go up to 400 because we were answering tickets too quickly. Although to give them some credit there's an if statement there so I'm sure there's a setting they added that they auto-enabled that you can actually disable. Yikes though.

@VirMach you should get paid by WHCMS for fixing up their shit.

I'd rather be paid by SolusVM since they're definitely getting PAID WELL by their customers with their pricing model. We helped find a bug that was causing 10%~ idle usage on every single VM running Debian 9, Ubuntu 16, Ubuntu 18, Debian 10, etc.

There are still things they don't listen to us on though, for probably years and we have to keep putting in our own little patches each version update. For example, there's this page on SolusVM where you want to add a VM, and it asks you to select a client. It creates a dropdown... of every single client.... instead of asking you to define an ID or name and then search it. Oh man my blood pressure.

(edit) By the way the VNC issue we had earlier, it was totally some bug on SolusVM. We did a work-around in the end because they were not being helpful at all and all their code is locked off.

  • next special pls

how many users online on client area?

  • $14.91/yr

    KVM - 1 GIGABIT
    1792MB RAM
    2 vCORE
    30GB SSD (RAID 10)
    1500GB BANDWIDTH
    LOS ANGELES, CA LOCATION
    1 DEDICATED IPv4

What is the time span between flash promos after 6PM PST?

  • @Virmach I take it Seattle is off the flash deals list?

Also, on the Windows licensing front, if it came to it, would that be retroactive or going forward only?

    Thanks
