I have a small 64mb instance in almost every location, never noticed lag or loss... Yes bbr can improve stability in some use cases, don't think it's needed for microlxc purpose?

VMware workstation and parallels desktop can simulate packet loss and latency. You can experience 300ms with 10% packet loss, test ssh with bbr on and off.

Yea but the thing is, did you ever reach out to me because of a location having packet loss issues, so it would make sense to apply it?

And if then, we probably have ditched that location for shit network quality.
I get the point, but I have not seen a single network report this year.

I understand your point. As long as the service is running smoothly, you prefer not to make any changes. I'm in the same boat :D I use bbr on almost all servers except one production server.
But a single servers usually can't satisfy all the other regions' ISPs with stable latency and low packet loss. If you live in New York and play games on a Korean server, FPS games will be nearly unplayable, and even Hearthstone Battlegrounds may feel frustrating. My current ISP experiences 3%-10% packet loss on all non-domestic traffic during the evening peak hours. So basically SSH to all containers is a pain in the ass! I added ProxyJump to the SSH config of every host before. This may be personal, but I really don't see a significant downside to use bbr.

The usual, IPv6 is most of the time considered second class.
I will update here when its resolved.

"Following a connectivity incident that caused approximately 30 minutes of downtime, already resolved by our technicians, please note that IPv6 connectivity, BGP sessions, and other additional services will remain temporarily unavailable until further notice."

  • Should had stopped lurking early and created the LET account - will try this after 3 months :)

Unless there’s an exception possible (if in case)?

Since its CB and we still got a decent amount of memory free on some Nodes.

JP, NL and FI have 50% off memory usage.
So if you get a 128MB LXC container, only 64MB will be deducted, as long as you keep it.

Runs either until the memory threshold is hit or CM ends.

Done, everyone who send a DM.

Those it also work if you upgrade your 64mb to 128mb in those locations?

There is about 3GB memory left per Node for the promo.

Well, if you send me your container ID, I can apply the discunt manually.
If the container is within these locations.

  • Do we have periodically clean up? My machine is offline for hours and I thought It is a outage until I go to the dashboard and see no machine exist there.

I setup hothost for monitoring and last time it pinged me is 16 Dec 11:12 which is down.
    Hostname: lxcc7e60c62
Service port: 6898 (don't remember the range)
    Location: SG

When going to microLXC dashboard few hours ago, I saw nothing there, just blank, so I tried to create another lxc to run my service.

Not sure If I violate any terms or it is a bug?

We had this here a few times.
    https://microlxc.net/index.php?p=about

    Is there any activity requirement?
Yes, you have to log in to the Portal every 60 days.

SG is online, no outage today either.

I will check the backups to check if that's valid.

Yea, you didn't login for 60 days, more like 67 days and your container was sniped that day for inactivity.
You are free to opt in for the email notifications, you have none on your account so you didn't get any.

I don't do any backups of any containers.
I was talking about the database, checking a snapshot from that day you mentioned, so I can go back in time and check the actual state of your container.

If for some reason it didn't line up, it might be a bug, hence I did check.
