Reboot your vserver from the control panel (you should see the "new KVM" available message) and once you reboot you'll get (or should get) the aes flag. And it does make a difference as far as measured via the openssl benches as well - so it's taking effect.

Now there's not much difference between the root-servers with dedicated cores and the other vservers/vps line up.

thanks a lot for pointing that out. I remember seeing that "new KVM" messages at some point but didn't feel the need to reboot... indeed now there is AES available with the vserver too and the geekbench also reflects that: https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/7784122 makes that little box even more valuable indeed ;-)

    LXC VPS | Ukraine | 1Gbit/s shared | Unmetered | 1 IPv4 | 10 IPv6

The promocode will apply automatically on the second page.

Really interested in this offer. Just so I don't experience any down time, I'd like to ask, Where about's in Ukraine are the servers based? Are they at at any risk of being annexed or poisoned by Russia with military grade nerve agents?

  • EwokEwok Member

Anyone that believes that shit should be exposed to nerve agents.

Indeed, the two lines are closer than ever before, and now it's mainly the dedicated kernels (yes or no) that distinguish them, not to mention 99,9% (Root-Servers) vs 99,6% (vServers) guaranteed availability.

Strategically, it looks like netcup's idea is for the vServers to be charged per hour and for the Root-Servers to be charged per month.

    Sure, 50EUR onetime Setup fee.
If you can tell me the 147282 digit of PI by PM you will get a onetime discount to wave that fee when you pay annually :p

You're off by 1 place, you didn't count the 3 before the decimal point.

Hm I think I was not precise enough, you can read my question either way

  • @donli said: You're off by 1 place, you didn't count the 3 before the decimal point.

Usually it is implied that you're asking for digits AFTER the decimal (that's what is interesting after all). Technically or pedantically you're (probably) right, but I think in the generally-implied-manner I'll still get the chocolate or rather the Klein bottle with everything inside it :-)

    https://store.itefg.de/shop/index.php/announcements/6/April-April.html

    • 2VCores
    • 2GB RAM
    • 20GB SSD Storage
    • 300Mbit/s Uplink

I do not know anything about that company. Came across that offer in another forum.

    Another Edit: You get 1 IPv4 and 1 IPv6.

Last Edit: Here are some more offers of this company ending at 2nd April: https://store.itefg.de/shop/index.php/announcements/5/Oster-Angebote---VServer-mit-2GB-Ram-ab-099-mtl.html

Is that a script you used for all of those tests? looking for something like this but haven't really tested a VPS speed/io etc in years beyond just using dd. Looking for suggestions for something scripty that does all the things...

As was noted earlier in this thread, unfortunately, those links (because of the key being linked to one's computer) don't work for others.

Out of curiosity, I checked a few times today (and just now), but I didn't see an egg for the Root-Server Eierkanone, but perhaps there are still a few left.

  • I ctrl+F5, and am getting eggs random

Yes, there are still eggs around for other services (this was the case yesterday as well), but the question is whether there are any eggs for the Root-Server Eierkanone.

serverscope.io but email with result not came to me that why i posted it from console. When price was 4EURO/6mo it was good but now it not cost 7EURO/6mo. For that price better wait BF and buy from top providers Inception Hosting or Virmach for same price same product or even better.
