    Thanks! Neither does Billy Joel.

  • If you want to pre-validade a kimsufi account, just order any available kimsufi dedi, validate the account, and then let the order expire. You will not have to pay anything...

They told me they would escalate my ticket. I'm not sure things will change from there but I guess if many people ticket them & contact them on twitter they might look into the issue.

(Even though they are probably well aware of it for a while already (?))

    Check your network for download speeds, e.g. from http://speedtest.tele2.net/10GB.zip 2-3 MB/sec or 11 MB/sec.

    I try with Online.net XC DEALS 1701.2, only 2-5 MB/sec.

    Cachefly 97.5 MB/s
    Ramnode 32.6 MB/s
    Linode 6.67MB/s
    DO AMS2 31.2 MB/s
    DO AMS3 98.3 MB/s
    DO FRA1 4.63 MB/s
    DO LON1 17.6 MB/s
    MikroVPS 55.6 MB/s

Getting up to 106 MB/sec from there on a Kidechire, seems like the current "Online.net DEALS" have network problems of their own.

  • Finally mine is deployed in RBX1..

Its better to validate now your account, just order something without paying for it, they will send you email for validating. In the note when you send document tell them that you are after other product and let the order expire. They will verify you, at least that was my case when i was after KS-1.

I get mails from check.ovh, yesterday and today there were 7 KS-3C and 4 KS-1 servers available. They go fast, keep your mail open on your phone or other kinds of notifications.

    KS-1 is still available

Apparently KS-3C and KS-4C specials, not the regular ones, have been removed from their API.

I don't think there will be another restock in anytime soon.

Nah, they were already removed from their API right after previous sale, but appeared again without any announcement.

Aaand... another interesting note about some of those KS-3C (this one is in RBX1, rack 07A13):

    wget -O /dev/null http://5.79.108.33/speedtest/1000mb.bin
    --2017-03-01 14:53:34-- http://5.79.108.33/speedtest/1000mb.bin
    Connecting to 5.79.108.33:80... connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK
    Length: 1000000000 (954M) [application/octet-stream]
    Saving to: ‘/dev/null’
    /dev/null            100%[======================>] 953.67M   110MB/s   in 8.8s
    2017-03-01 14:53:43 (108 MB/s) - ‘/dev/null’ saved [1000000000/1000000000]

Yep, it has a gigabit inbound link. Upload is regular 11 MB/s.

It's cheap and it's not in stock very often. That's all that's needed to get the LET masses drooling. You should have seen it when BuyVM had limited stocks of their $15/year 128MB special, it was like feeding time at the zoo.
