Did you indirectly just tell all your clients to drink their own urine?

Intended to lighten the vibe. Some people would've taken the meme the wrong way, was found on a WHT thread. :/

How much did you get paid for all of this dishonesty?

Do you feel that it's a conflict of interest to have involvement in both a forum promoting illegal online activity and a web hosting company? Just curious.

All comments are my own and do not represent LowEND.

  • I think mpkossen resorted a post a week or two ago but I'm not sure it's that important.

Your "couple of words" change the entire context of the meme. That and you've never watched Bear Grylls.

I stand corrected, and not watched it only seen some clips/snippets in passing.

    Previous post also updated.

Hope so. I just need to get some data, other than that I have made temporary arrangements to keep my site up.

Creeps up to @AThomasHowe's house and rings the doorbell, then runs while giggling

So you're going to tell us once it turns the next day in Chicago? :o

  • The following contributes to the confusion:

Australia has the same timezones as North America, they just [ sometimes forget to ] prefix them with the required "A" to form things like "AEST" which means "Australian Eastern Standard Time". You will find that just about all of Australia is this f**king complicated.

Australia always makes me think of a 2nd America :D

I completely agree with you. Been 24 hours, no official email from them about the down-time. They are not replying to the tickets now..

After this is handled, I would strongly recommend to launch a failover server, even low-end one, always at hand and synced.

With low-costs backup storage such as AWS Glacier you could be able to keep really much data at very low cost. Find an admin to set it all up if not experienced enough.

    Good luck.

That is not so cheap. The storage alone is 1c per GB and the retrieval costs too, it is also not immediately available when you need it, for example our XenPower L line is about 1.7 per GB and comes with full VPS so you can export the space as you wish, 4 vcpu, 4 GB of ram and 6 TB traffic for the largest plan. A KS is also even cheaper per GB but does not have redundancy, however it has unlimited traffic albeit at slower speeds and that is important when you need a backup.

Shit got fucked up, ViCount now works for Hardcloud, MikeHardcloud was apparently poorly and didn't pay bills or summat, promised an RFO yesterday, still not delivered.

And I can't remember if it was this thread or not, but GVH Jon posted a pick of his bedroom that clearly showed stains on the carpet. Might have been another thread, but I didn't want you to miss out.
