@Scioner, make up your mind, mate

First, you presented those IDs as unique customers and used them to suggest DeluxHost had thousands of satisfied users. Now, suddenly, you're admitting they don't prove customer satisfaction ? You can't keep moving the goalposts every time someone exposes a flaw in your argument. Server IDs prove neither unique customers nor satisfaction. Your entire argument was based on assumptions, and now you're contradicting yourself. At least get your story straight before trying to lecture others
btw im not complaining. im personally dont expecting something amazing from vps that costs 12 euros for whole year. only one wish - more network stability will be better
just warning asking person who looking into 10-20 euros yearly vps and expecting little stable rocket for this price, that things are unstackable.
I will not read past this, and I ask you to show the exact quote where I presented whose IDs as such.
If there will be no quote I will excuse myself to threat you as a exaggerating lier.
@Scioner, nice try
You originally used those 2,852 IDs to suggest thousands of customers and support DeluxHost's claims about a happy majority. Now you're suddenly saying those IDs might not even represent real customers ? Changing your story doesn't make me a liar. It just exposes how weak your original argument was. Next time, make sure your own statements don't contradict each other before accusing someone else of lying
Ok, we are settling this as you being a lier.
@Scioner, calling me a liar won't fix your flawed logic. You used VPS IDs to support claims of customer satisfaction, then admitted they prove nothing. Nice try, but insults won't make you right
The new customers too will soon learn their lessons about how their VPS is deceptive. It can go down or keep disconnecting every seconds on whatever you used their VPS for. Imagine all my VPS with them now can not even connect my VPN as VPN server for just 5 minutes without disconnecting and reconnecting. One of VPS can not even install common VPN script using any Ubuntu images. I have created several tickets these guys will just ignore my tickets for like 5 days then later respond after 5 days. I have created tickets now for 5 days response till now. I chatted the guy on LET here and submitted to him my ticket Id still no response from him no fix and i have 5 good VPS there not functioning properly. Very annoying I almost curse this deluxhost. I know I have entered deluxhost trap this year but that money deluxhost devour from me you will never spend it peacefully for sure. They have different nodes good nodes and bad nodes they are switching new and old customers to. 1 day they will switch your VPS to good nodes 2nd or 3rd day it will be switched to bad nodes again and they will hibernate for 5 days from responding to tickets. Very very deceptive team
I do think amount of VPS' (if those number IS amount of VPS) is valid reason to guess there's enough clients which is not that unhappy.
Also I do think "calling" and "stating the fact" is the two different things.
And the most puzzling thing for me is that you started this right after my complain about service not being good.
@Scioner, so now it's just a guess ? Funny how your facts keep turning into assumptions
VPS IDs don't measure customer satisfaction, and silence proves nothing. I questioned your reasoning, not your complaint. Disagreeing with your speculation doesn't make me a liar. Learn the difference between facts and assumptions before accusing others
@DeluxHost
Could you please check my support ticket #TMV3MU1ZN8LN1 (VPS #21879)?
The migration was completed successfully, but my compensation request from October 15 remains unanswered.
Matteo previously stated that a complimentary upgrade could be considered after the migration. I've already submitted a detailed request and followed up, but still haven't received a decision.
Could someone from management please review the ticket and provide a concrete response regarding the upgrade?
Thank you.
Don't even try. Difference between server's ID is a fact. Difference between those numbers and unhappy clients there is a fact as well.
Your statement about "unique" clients is a lie. You did lie. It's a fact too.
@Scioner, yes, the ID difference is a fact. Your conclusions about customer numbers and satisfaction aren't
You literally wrote "That's a lot of clients" and linked it to a "majority of happy clients". Fair enough, you never explicitly said "unique". But an imprecise interpretation isn't a lie, and repeating "it's a fact" won't turn your assumptions into evidence. Stop arguing over one word and defend your actual point
How the fuck do you even want to measure any of that without knowing any other statistic? I for example have 23 active services and cancelled a bunch more, would I count as 23 active clients?
It's just stupid to assume anything here and rather you should look at the reviews posted. @DeluxHost is not a host you should use for production. If you are lucky and land on a good node, lucky you, use that VM for something that needs more power, like I use a better Ryzen VM for a budget Minecraft server. Do I expect it to run 24/7, hell nah, can I still run ATM 10, sure, whatever, lucky me, I guess.
Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate using @DeluxHost offers very much as I understand their purpose for now and I did already help myself for them to get better, but I would not in any way just assume that @DeluxHost's statements are 100% correct all the time. They do have huge problems (especially regarding storage), it's up to you, individually if you are willing to try and hit or you simly ignore the offers.
They provide a good value, if you look for a non critical services that need to be up 24/7 and must have all performance available to them 24/7.
Well, there's two assumptions.
Yours: twenty or so unhappy people represent how DeluxHost operate (correct me if I'm wrong, but it does looks so)
Mine: there's at least 2.8k VPS' for the last two months and we don't see that much complains from them.
Which one is more reasonable - well, I hope it's obvious. But I don't intend to keep this talk, sorry.
Absolutely, you're right about that.
checking it now
please check the ticket, should be solved now.
Thank you for taking our side, but I think it's pointless to continue arguing about nothing with someone who will criticize us regardless.
What about a third assumption? What if @DeluxHost fakes the number and edits the counter?
See, assumption here make no sense. Look at facts.
I am the first one who are talking about not using DeluxHost's VPS for the production.
They do not have stable VPS'. They do not have stable network. Performance of their VPS' is bad af.
But it doesn't change the fact there's increment of ID's in thousands every month. It is increment in amount of VPS most likely.
And difference between people complaining and those numbers is pretty significant.
Accept the migration like that and do without compensation. If I can get migration too I would be glad but the thing is there is no guarantee the new node migrated too will not frustrate you again after some weeks of good performance
I get that and I’m on your side mostly, it’s just that assumptions in general are most of the time stupid. I sometimes also assume and I always get caught up by that. My arguments weren’t about @DeluxHost alone, but about trusting anyone blindly and assume anything about statistics you don’t know.
It is possible, but I regard it as unlikely. There is high demand, and there's not that much of a cheap hostings atm. It's reasonable to guess it's a reasonable numbers.
Especially for the fact it didn't come from their stats or anything like that. It's a guess based on their naming.
Many simply have completely out-of-scale expectations for what these cheap VPSs should be used for, the reality is this.
But despite this, we continue to help all customers and where possible I also move them to really good nodes that would usually not be reserved for offers.
We have problems, certainly, but that doesn't take away our dedication to solving them and doing what we can.
I do hope you had a time to look at that https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/4888922/#Comment_4888922
It was pointless buried.
I would have preferred to send my messages to your inbox directly but what I want to write is something I need your urgent attention on. Thanks for taking actions on my ticket but you have you used a small problem to create a bigger problem for me unless the action is reversible without loosing my data.
Sir you have suspended 2 wrong VPS. If you read my tickets well. I didn't request for migration of all my W-Series. I pointed it out clearly that only 1 of my W-Series with the new IP species/subnet different from my 2 old W-series is affected that you should migrate that only 1 W-series. Now you suspended the 2 older W-series which had been the only 2 serving VPS out of all the 7 I have on your website all together. Please revert my 2 older W-series back as soon as possible I have just reinstalled the 2 few days ago and already set the 2 up with my VPN. Why not take off all those your D and F series which are the poorest ones but you went ahead to suspended the only 2 VPS I have been using with better performance out of all the other 5 regular up and down VPS. If you want to help my VPS carrier this year just revert the 2 old W-series migrate the 3rd new W-series, migrate the 2 imbeciles D-SERIES and The 2 HIV VIRUS F-SERIES and please replace it with better Series VPS you think are not yet raped and will never get raped till my next renewal this year or next year. Thanks in Advance Mr @DeluxHost. Please don't let me wait for another 5 days again before you restore my 2 W-series which you mistakenly suspended just now on your website. Remember to take back the 2 extra 2 Q-series and just leave only only 1 as replacement for the 1 and only bad VPS out of my W-series. Peradventure, you can use 1 stone to kill 2 birds and help me to replace the 2 F-SERIES and the 2 D-series too I don't care if i ended up getting neitherlands only all I need now are good VPS not data center anymore. Thanks in Advance once again Mr @DeluxHost
@DeluxHost, instead of thanking people who defend your company while openly criticizing its reliability, perhaps it's time to focus on fixing the issues they're pointing out.
The real achievement wouldn't be proving how many satisfied customers you have, but turning today's critics into genuinely happy customers through actual improvements. I think that would speak louder than any argument or statistic. I'll leave it at that and genuinely hope to see things improve

i really need it thanks.
I would like to thank the DeluxHost team for their understanding, support, and willingness to resolve the issues I experienced with their VPS services. I truly appreciate their efforts to find a fair solution and give me the opportunity to test their services again. Thank you for your professionalism, patience, and commitment to making things right. Your positive approach is greatly appreciated!
Seems time has stopped in Italy, and it is still Friday, October 16, there :-)
As at least the issue with networking for D servers is still not solved on Saturday, the day after "today"...
But I didn't really expect anything to happen, based on extensive past experience. So just need to keep prodding and pleading and begging until something moves, because that seems to be what is needed to have issues addressed. The official support process seems to be:
My issue is not so much with things happening, I am not running anything that couldn't cope with a little downtime every now and then. And sh.. can happen, anywhere, anytime.
It's that it seems this constant prodding and pleading and begging is needed all the time that is so exhausting, and extremely tiring.
Rather than raising a ticket, and maybe a few clarifications, but then being able to rely on that the issues will be dealt with within a day or two, or maybe a week, or even longer, for trickier things. But not months, with promises of "today" passing by time and time again without anything happening.
