Probably stock crunch. /s
I hope OVH doesnt do the same with their eco line.
Its not looking good.
I disagree. that is actually the best way ever to tackle the current price challenges (memory etc.) on the market.
or would you rather see them raise pricing for all existing servers across all clients?
ofc it sucks if you want a new server right now, but this just reflects the reality and does not hit people who actually have their box bought a while ago.
they obviously don't target people that jump ship every other month with this. however there is no setup fee on auction servers, so if you are looking for short term rent, that more likely is the place you want to go.
Still 500+ EUR for setup (Genoa's) seems like crazy. You could run decent auction server for a year for that money. Of course if you need it and can pass expenses to your customers sure.. But then also you could be looking elsewhere for better value.
I completely agree with and understand what you said. Most of the time, I choose to pay the setup fee to use the newest servers, and I rarely buy servers from the auction section.
I also know that hardware prices have been rising extremely, extremely sharply lately, and I don’t want Hetzner to increase the prices of all servers currently on sale—Hetzner’s business strategy probably wouldn’t do something like that anyway.
But the setup fee was already raised once not long ago, and this time the increase is even more dramatic—almost explosive. After this increase, the setup fee is already far, far higher than it was at the beginning. At first glance, the price comparison is honestly hard to accept, which is why I said that.

Gosh. Hope that they won't increase price too much for current servers. It would be a pain to find an alternative and migrate everything.
“Therefore, adjustments to monthly prices will be necessary in the coming weeks. We are currently reviewing whether we need to extend the price adjustment to other product lines in addition to dedicated servers and our cloud service, and whether existing servers will also be affected.”
That’s somewhat disappointing, but it’s understandable. In fact, when the EX63 was first launched, I was actually surprised that—despite rising hardware costs—Hetzner could still offer such a strong configuration at such a great price.
As long as the price increase isn’t too steep, I’ll continue using Hetzner. I just ordered an EX63, and now I really regret not buying one during the Black Friday period.😭😭😭
Do they still need the documents?
Hetzner has now joined the other shitty companies.
Next level prices
Holy shit, dat dell dx293! Slammed 944€ on top.
I am happy I left the ship already after the last price hike.
Inevitable.

Affects new and EXISTING orders.
Cancel.
RAMagaddon is at the door knocking
@Hetzner_OL any plan for EX130 to return to Germany? cause AX162 is just too powerful, and too expensive to my needs, i only see Finland location, if not, any new xeon proccessor server will replace the EX130 on a nice budget?
I mean EX looks like successor of PX93, but any successor for EX130?
I guess im not the only one prefer Xeon CPU, or any more amd cpus like Epyc 7313 or something simillar ?
@Hetzner_OL does the 3% increase from server auction applies to current monthly plans we locked in?
The price changes will take effect on 1 April 2026 for both new orders and existing products. For orders placed before 1 April 2026, but delivered after 1 April 2026, the adjusted prices will apply.
What i don't understand is that auction goes up 3% but my AX102 goes up with 14%. For both cases the hardware is already purchased.
@Advicerxyz - I unfortunately cannot give you any information about when (or if) the EX130 will be available again in Germany. And as a general rule of thumb, we don't publish information about upcoming products. Instead we prefer to make an announcement after new products become available.
@pyCyber - See the note at the bottom of the table: "across the board". That means both new and existing servers from the Server Auction. Sorry for any confusion. --Katie
EX63 (FSN1) $ 75.10 $ 92.10
4x 7.68 TB NVMe SSD Datacenter Edition (EX63) $ 131.00 $ 162.00
😱😱😱😱
Server setup fee is now 2.5 months instead of 1 month. It's unfortunate but they don't control the RAM prices. Since the RAM price is only paid once for server, I for one am glad they tried to include it in the one-time cost, instead of monthly. I hope they will decrease it back to one month when the market crisis is over, and if they don't do that, they will go on my shit-list.
Edit: Since they also increased monthly prices, I will soon cancel my service.
I really hope that on April 1st, Hetzner will say this was actually an April Fool’s joke.
Because after the price increase, I have to pay an extra $50 per month for one of my servers. If that’s not a joke, then what is? Do you realize that $50 is enough to buy another server?
From where, Hetzner?
They're doing enshittification. Once you're locked in with low prices, they raise prices above market and hope you don't leave.
Could you maybe suggest it to who responsible for it ?
Like to add more stock in Germany or provide more variety of server grade hardware for low-mid tier like EX130 for future products?
It will be lovely to have.
You mean, like specific names of our teammates who make decisions like that...? We don't publish that kind of information.
However, I can pass on your feedback to my colleagues for EX130 servers in Germany/a future product that is similar to it. --Katie
@Hetzner_OL: way more important as feedback: bring back a PX line.
Isn’t this ot similar to electricity price crysis? Who thinks that they will drop price as soon as market floods with hardware after llm collapse?
