There were barely any lottery winnings on FRA, don't be too sad.
Well, I want at least bigger diks.
My FRA is nearly full.

I don't expect 64gig but 2x 1TB NVMe will do.
I wish you the best of luck in your quest
thank you for sending that status page
i have been looking for something like that for years
i can now monitor my idlers from one place, including baby KS-A
It looks quite nice, looking in to setting it up myself
Yea, I like it.

Perfect for Idlers.
now ive convinced myself i need to buy a vps somewhere to host it on, thanks
Or pay another invoice and use the new dedicated box for this idler stats page
that was the first thing that crossed my mind, but monitoring ovh from ovh isnt a good mix
especially when someone pushes a broken config in the US and it takes down their entire backbone...
There are other providers
But monitoring dedicated servers from bare metals makes more sense
lol, seeing what I can do
Is anyone even able to get the crappy KS-B ipmi to work? I always get some "Main class not found" after the URL has a redirect loop.
Okay I ran it within 5 seconds of downloading and it finally worked.
I vibecoded a tool to check hardware specs. It's front end only, single HTML file that can be run locally in browser. Query is sent directly to OVH's API endpoints from browser. https://github.com/zakkuuno/ovh-hardware-checker
Im not alone here, there are still people with no KS-LE server.
i think @dev_vps will can help us
Got an upgraded KS-LE-A to let go. E3-1245v2/32GB/3x2TB HDD/500M IPv4/1G IPv6/BHS/EU account, renewal is 9.99 Euro. Asking 23.5 USD (= 2 x 9.99 Euro) for the transfer, which is what I paid OVH. PM if interested. YABS: https://pastebin.com/QGBWgCEM
That is good. What about the HDD power on hours? Most KS-LE-A comes with 9-10 years old HDDs.
I think it's because of the missing TPM module

Although this is a very tasty chicken it is to be noted that this could be somewhat of a downgrade for whoever was looking for a base LE-B for the igpu, since the e3-1230v6 doesn't have one.
@remy @NotFoundmException @brauni @Neoon Thanks for the explanation regarding the live migration feature—that’s exactly what I’m looking for.
My Google isn't broken, but I’m also not a fan of reinventing the wheel. Which guide or tutorial would you recommend for setting this up? Specifically, 2 nodes with live migration enabled, without vcrack.
I'm going to give it until the 14th of November, as that's the last official day of the flash sale according to their website.
Which ancient Java version do I need for this?
I tried this in the past. It worked, but performance wasn't too great of course.
You didn't pay your bill?
Told you. Have you got any meaningful reply by OVH "voluntary best effort support"?
I think as long as they do not really monitor these nodes, you are really out of luck at the moment with OVH.
I still see only (some, not all) OVH US local zones in monitoring, but not one in the EU.
So you can say: I've a MAD one with OVH.
For the IPMI part you need Java 8 32bit (with 64bit the ISO mount is broken). It relies on Java Web Start which was removed in Java 11. I think I've read somewhere on LET that people have been using Icedtea instead, but I have never tried.
It appears that KS‑LE‑B has been removed from the site.
But still on the api
They could even not publish it on the website.
Might mean KS-LE-B isn't going to be restocked, and the other ones will?
The power of LET...
