Can you hook me up with a spec similar to le-b here daddy rock?

    2xnvme

    Please.

hey @plumberg I don't have any nvme, SSD?

Yes. Should be good as long as it can beat/ match ls-b.

Ya I can prolly hook that up.

    I'm listening.

lol @freek that is very funny, the "bonjour" got me.

You never kept your word for le-b

    Sad 😔 😟 🙁 😥

    For @plumberg

    SLWSLD™

Nice! Daddy deals keep on dropping! Deal of the century @plumberg !

    lol thank you :)

  • I have two Kimsufi (KS) servers that both show a private network interface in the backend.
The interfaces are visible, active, and configured (eno4 / eno4.10 with VLAN 10).

However, when I try to attach them to a vRack, I always get the following error:

Unable to get dedicated server interface

Is there any way to make this private network actually functional between KS servers?
Or is this interface just a legacy/remnant from older setups that is no longer usable?

Edit: seems to not be true, there are kimsufi machines with functioning vrack

I’ve had a few KS-* that had dregs of vrack available but it was never functional; I believe I’ve seen others on this interminable thread say the same.

I’d assume it’s like everything else - these are random old machines that had other uses so might have a bonus physical nic, but the provisioning system knows it’s Kimsufi and so won’t plumb it together.

One of the more annoying things is how hard it is to the delete the partially configured vrack.

10gig is nice and all, the CPU is strong yes, but is it worth paying double though?

Yea I abused my MYSTERY for that, Xeon G was best for LLM.
Since the MYSTERY and the KS-LE-B are both DDR4, performance for LLM should be about the same.

Especially if you have the same fat NVMe, loading into memory should be fast.

I'm on the same boat cause I can't install any windows version. It always crashes when loading the windows installer. I don't think it's possible to install windows cause it's not listed as a compatible OS

It seems only KS-LE-C & KS-LE-E is compatible with Windows
