  • Out of frustration of not being able to snag a LE-B this time, I gambled on some LE-Cs:

    • 3x SSD variant (3x GRA)
    • 5x HDD variant (3x RBX, 2x GRA)

    From those 8 LE-Cs I got:

    • 3x disk upgrade from 2x2T HDD to 2x4T HDD (2x RBX, 1x GRA)
-- two of which also got an upgrade to 64G RAM (2x RBX)
    • One of the SSD variants got a 1G/1G upgrade (1x GRA)
    • No CPU upgrades whatsoever

So in total, 4 upgraded in some way, 4 completely stock. Seems the spinning rust ones in RBX have a higher potential for upgrades.

Can post some YABS if anyone is interested.

  • 2 out of 3 LE-B in RBX arrived with 32GB RAM and 2x2TB NVMe.

  • I received one LE-E today in GRA: just stock configuration. It seems that GRA is not attractive for upgrades this time.

  • KS-LE-B RBX with Windows Server 2025

Honest question; why not also create an EU account? It's free. I created an CA account as well today, next to my existing EU account.

I also opened a CA account just in preparation for this years OVH events (in this case: Asia deals), so I would second this recommendation.

How are people creating CA accounts outside of CA, just giving false address? Or is there a way to register outside CA for a CA account with real data?

You use to not need a CA address, I have a CA account for years using my real EU address.

    Maybe it changed?

In the early days of ovhCloud you could create an account anywhere.
Now you can't and if OVH find out you provided fake info, good luck.
